Tomorrow is Thanksgiving day, a time to gather together with friends and family to give thanks for the blessings and good fortune that we have received.

So I ask you: what are you thankful for?

What am I thankful for?
good job , good friends, and lucky to live at a great moment in time with technology advancing at a very fast rate.
( ie: computers and music )

Mostly though I am thankful for getting a second chance at life with my wonderful Fiancee.
Maybe this time next year I will be a father!
Woudn`t be the worse thing that could happen to me

Ah Jerry... you couldn't have said it better!

Yes, I'm thankful for:

1) Meeting Olga
2) Great friends (both in-person and online friends)
3) Having the opportunity to "slow down" and spend time with my mom and siblings.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Bob

Q: Why has there never been a coup d'etat in the United States?

A: There's no US embassy there.

Of course, I am thankful for this forum, and all the wonderful, wise, and kind moderators that are here.
(OK, so much for the sucking up portion of my post... Hehehe)

This year I have so much to be thankful for, I think that my family's first Thanksgiving dinner together will begin to get cold while we list everything. For me, I'm thankful that Natalya, Pasha and I are finally together. We are truly developing a close and loving family. I'm thankful for how well my son has adapted to his new home. It is amazing to watch how quickly he grows and learns. Monday, we had a parent-teacher conference, and his teacher had only wonderful things to say about him. His reading level is almost at par with his classmates. I'm thankful for our good health and good fortune. I had financial worries at the start of this year, and changed professions just before they arrived. I'm truly thankful that this offered stability for my family to accomplish the needed changes to our home.

For me, there's much to be thankful for.

Like Conner, there is too much to list
As a family, we have been truly blessed this past year.
Heck, we've been truly blessed this past WEEK!
I took Liliya to cash her first paycheck yesterday
Grandmother got her visa on Monday
Niko got a great interim report Tuesday
And Trixie (our cat) successfully chased off a raccoon twice her size the other night - quite a feat as she has no claws

Happy Thanksgiving to all who read this forum, and sincere hopes that the year to come will be better than the the year thats past.

I'm thankful for the water tank we just had installed. Now we have running water all day! (Sorry for being materialistic, but this has changed my life ).

I'm thankful for the four day weekend

Oh yeah, and friends and family yada yada yada

Just kidding, of course I am thankful for my friends and family. I am thankful that my husband was willing to pick up his whole life and move to Armenia with me. I am thankful for my dog (when he's not peeing on the bed). I am thankful for democracy at least starting to take hold in Ukraine. I am thankful for the hospitality of Armenians (and their patience and sense of humor). I am thankful for another year of health and happiness.

Yours too?!? I don't know what it is, but my dog goes through periods of being the perfect dog... but then I turn my back and he's peeing on the bed... AARGH!!!! But yes, I'm thankful for my diaper-challenged canine friend.

(My apologies to ConnerVT). Yes, it's strange. It happens about once every month or two. No idea why--he just seems to get disoriented or something once in a while....Let me know if you figure it out

With almost everything else going to hell in a handbasket in this world, I'm thankful for meeting my beloved and that thanks to her this Thanksgiving wasn't a complete disaster.
