Hi any news about the missing 5800 votes in FL ?

Since the news story came to my country, there has been no follow-up story.

Most people saw this as a fraud anyway.hmmm(he was said to have won by 537 votes!?! last time) Meaning this missing votes probably made Bush president instead of Gore... .
Now they have voting computers... Much easier to let them do what you want if you are the gov... I actually do not understand why voting can be done like this. There is no proof if something went wrong or not... I think this means for the government even IF they are elected correctly that lots of people (including me) would think of a possible fraud. A government that had a election "problem" like the Bush government would have been better off to stay with paper instead of changing this this time... Just to proove that they CAN win without any doubts.
By the way the last poll here in germany gave this result :

Quote:
Ergebnis der Umfrage (Result of the Query)
Wen wünschen Sie sich als nächsten US-Präsidenten? (Who would you like to be new US -Presiden?)
George W. Bush 8%
John F. Kerry 92%
Abgegebene Stimmen: (Number of Votes) 112225

Hi

We have a programme, called Danes for Bush. I think its a documentary, but anyway some Danes have travelled around overthere since august.
I believe there is the same from Sweden.

Here is a pic.

If these are vote from voting early, (which you can do) how did they know who voted what. They're not counted until Nov. 2.

Something is missing in this story.

No, it's probably a poll of Danes. Fortunately, only US citizens get to vote in US elections.

Spamer,

Jutman is not showing results in Florida, but instead showing how a group of Danes polled by a local newspaper indicated they would vote if they had a vote.

Jutman,

I think you are referring to the number of early voting ballots that had not been received by Florida residents as of last week. These documents were "in the mail" so to speak. To solve this problem, voters who had applied for early voting ballots and reported they had not received one were sent another by Express Mail service. These are hand delivered and signed receipt, so that's why you're no longer hearing any hullaballu.
