Atkins advice?

Hi there. I was hoping to get a little advice. I need to start a diet and I've already done a lot of research. I've decided to start the Atkins diet. I just ordered an Atkins dvd from Walmart's site, but I wanted to know if there's anything in the books that it doesn't cover? Not that I'm lazy, just a slow reader. If anyone has any information please let me know. Thanks!

I'm not sure about the DVD because I read the book but I will tell you that Atkins works and it's a way of eating that will stick with you for life.

I was 245 and jogging two miles a day on a low fat diet and could not lose any weight at all. Then, I went on Atkins and lost all my weight in two months and it was incredibly easy. But you must follow it exactly, especially during induction, do not eat anything that is not on the list, period.

I now weigh 190 and have kept it off for over a year with no problem at all.

My first few days on Atkins was very hard as i had migrane headaches and was tired all time time, sleeping 14 hours a day. I was so addicted to carbs and sugar and didn't even know it. Now, I have kicked my food addictions and feel great and only eat healthy, natural and wholesome foods.

I will Never ever go back to low fat eating ever. And my doctor tells me that my cholesterial is very low and I'm healthy as ever. In fact, he went on Atkins too and is now recommending it.

Low Carb diets with High protien intake are healty for you especially if you combine that with a good excersize program. All serious body builders Go heavy on the protien when they are on a weight gain cycle and go extra lean (virtually cut out any carbs) when they are cutting back to the lean cycle.

Ever heard of the Dr. Kwasniewski diet from Poland ? It's based on eating fats and fatty foods.
