Hi all

Yesterday, october the 13, my wife and me were having a field trip. By chance we stubbled into a ceremony for Emperess Maria Fiodorovna.
We were allowed inside, because she is Russian, other people weren't. Inside was maybe 10 person, beside the Ortodox priest. We did not she the beginning and did not see it all, because a colleague of mine were waiting.
Anyway, it was special and interesting to watch an ortodox ceremony and it will something I will remember rest of my life.

The Emperess room with the coffin is normally not open to visitors, except this summer for a period of 2 months. Due to her re-burial in 2 years.

I did not know why there was a ceremony, until I came home Here I found out that she died that very day, 76 years ago.
And the date for her re-burial or reunion with her husband, Zar Alexander III will take place that date they were married.

---

Later same day, we visit the Queens palace in Copenhagen and beside a firealarm were we were evacuated, we saw some of the jewelry the Zar and Zarina used, or what her parent had.

For my wife it was strange to see a gigant picture of the Zarina play cards !!! (with her parents and sister)
