I would like to marry a Russian man but i note that most services are geared towards western men and russian women.

So how would i meet a Russian man living abroad? say in London or Europe?

As I understand it, London has a rather large Russian community. I believe Andy referenced it in one of the other sections recently. You might try asking around and then go check it out.

Most "marriage agencies" cater to men finding women, but furthermore, they are set up to find Russians still living in Russia, as opposed to those living abroad. However, there are a few that also have russian men listed too.

Hello Rania,

Are you based in London? i don't feel you need to go to a marriage agency as there are many Russians in London.

Perhaps put advert in paper and see if you get any replies, second find a place where Russians hang out and go there and see if a Russian man is for you, if its a pub where they mingle go there don't be shy find a nice place to sit and read a book, but please don't sit in the background as this will be negative for you, as you will not be seen by people.

I would like to say if you meet a man please be careful and meet only during the day and let people know where you are going and don't rush into a relationship take your time untill you know them and why they want to marry you.

Go to http://www.russianlondon.com and find out about Russian events in London. Then go to those events and meet people.

Read LondonInfo and Londonskiy Kuryer, in fact maybe you should place a personals ad in them. You can buy both of them at the newstand on the pavement outside Holborn station or in one of the Russian shops in London.

Go to the market in the mews on Queensway a few doors up from the bowling alley and ice rink. There is at least one cork bulletin board with notices pinned up. Make some friends, share a flat with a Russian girl, get to know people in the community.

No Brian, that's not what i meant.
Oh Come on, let's not generalise something that can't be generalised.

Nor do i believe that being "fat, bald......etc." means no-one can love you?
Most men who marry russian or other non western women (philipino, thai, ) do so , because they find them more feminine and womanly than their western counterparts. I know because i'm a woman, and men have told me. I'm British but of Asian Muslim background, Men who are interested in me, are not necessarily interested in me, because i am going to be their "housekeeper" or "lovetoy" but because i'm a bit different. I guess that works the other way round too.

Oh and no need to apologise Neil, appreciate the advice

Americans can easily find Russians, asians, and hispanics right here in the USA. The only problem is these girls already live here and dont have to settle for someone who is socially inept or physically lacking.

Of course you are looking for something different and exotic, I had no thoughts to the contrary. Its unheard of for women to be hunting mail order grooms.

if you are meeting up with 70 year grandpas (like it shows in your profile) you don't need anyone's advice to be careful. They cant hurt anyone let alone change their diapers.

Hello Panel,

I from London Kent and live in a multi-cultural country and many people are breaking away from there culture, i agree with Rania, i feel this lady is very strong minded and know's what she wants in life, there are some very good Russian men out there and i wish this lady the best of luck.

Why should a lady be house keeper or the mans little doll, for me i like a lady to be strong in mind and strong in body and someone who can keep me on the right track in life.

I don't want some barbie doll but a lady who will work and work in a good relationship to make happy family

Looks don't come into a relationship and the country where they come from is not important.
