I've been getting the typical scam letters from someone calling themselves 'Allushaka'. They are very long and profess that she's fallen in love with me after only two emails. She can't sleep because she thinks about me all the time and can't wait to be in my arms. And typically, they are all form letters and 'she' doesn't answer any of my questions or mention things that I write in my letters. It's an obvious scam and I'm sure within a few more emails, I will be hit up for money for internet use or medicine or whatever.
What's new to me is that she's sending pictures of her holding up a sign saying "I Love You Tom". They are now photoshopping messages into their pictures to make it look as if they are personalized, hand written signs and that the pictures were taken just for you.
For those who don't know, with a computer you can blank out parts of a picture and add writing. All the have to do is take a picture of a woman holding up a blank sign and then add the writing on the computer to personalize it.
Here's the picture, I thought you guys would get a laugh out of it:

Hello,
How do you know this lady is a scammer? you don't no, how many ladies are in Russia looking for a husband from the west too many.
If a lady has profile and she asks for a man with lots of money and good home and nice car for me this lady is not scamming, she is being honest.
If a lady has profile and she asks for normal man with normal job and is realy looking to spend this mans money as fast as she can and does not care about this man exceprt for money this is scamming and is not on.
I feel this lady has done nothing wrong yes the computer image may not be her but phone this lady and have flowers sent to this lady and get photo of this lady receiving theses flowers.
If this lady is real go for it its just another way of selling yourself on the internet.
Regards
Neil

Neil,
The lady is an obvious scammer at this point.
All of her emails were just form letters wherein she professed her love to me and said she thinks about me all the time and never made a personal reference to me whatsoever or answered my direct questions at all.
And now, I get a letter asking me to send thousands of dollars for her visa and airfare. Obvious scam and obvious photoshopped picture.
I posted more information in a new thread "What should I do with this scammer" in this forum.
I feel so sorry for all the guys wasting their money and time on flowers and gifts. Heck, even if the woman is real you shouldn't send flowers and gifts anyway, it's too sappy and available.
