They broke to commercial just as the Russian team was entering the stadium for the opening ceremony. Of course, we got to see Trinadad and Tobago enter in all their glory. Apparently seeing a commercial for the new show "Joey" is more important to American viewers than seeing the country who has the potential to kick our ass in the medal run.

Highlight: Seeing Alexander Medved carry in the flag for Belarus!!! Am I the only one old enough to remember him? He was my hero many years ago. What a great athlete! I have pictures of he and Karelin in my office.
