FSU Agencies vs English Agencies.

I hear alot about scam fsu agencies etc etc but I joined two agencies in the UK ( one in London and one in Manchester ) and I was scammed out of $2700 . I met just 1 person in a year of joining an agency in London - the agency disappeared and I lost my money. The agency in Manchester , an allegedly reputable agency , worked on the basis that as women didnt want photographs posted on the internet no photos were allowed of anyone on thier books- just tel nos- well it was a good scam because surprise , surprise I met 3 people in a year and it was like pulling teeth to actually get a date to just have a coffee .
I put it down to my job - I work in a clerical job in an office and at 41 not being a professional , most women want high earners but a scam is a scam and I was definately taken for a ride.

As for fsu., at 41 I had more dates in 10 days than in my entiire life and the ladies were not hookers- sex was not on the menu and we actually met and had a meal and talked - I never expected this - in England it is like a drought - either I am missing something or else women in fsu see me differently from women in the UK.

Any thoughts ?

It's too bad that you've been scammed. Many on this site have been scammed as well. Education is a vital key to help protect others from this problem. I am glad to hear that you did meet and enjoyed your time there. I hope you have opportunity to spend additional time there.

Are you asking whether agencies in England (that cater to English men and women) are more reputable than agencies in Russia that work with Russian women and Western men?

I believe that Sidney makes a good point, that it is not necessarily where the women are from, but rather the quality of how they operate, as well as how wise you are in how you approach meeting someone.

Use common sense and precautions when you are dealing with any agency, be cautious about giving anyone your money, etc...

(I did not know whether you may have meant whether it is better to meet a Rusian lady through a Russian or English-based agency?)

Since I own an agency and I live in Ukraine I have been able to monitor other agencies owners and here is what I've notice so far.

Western Owned agencies. (Cons)
1. Tend to be more expensive.
2. Offer services such as exclusive rights to ladies and key words that are designed making the biggest buck.
3. The bad ones tend to hide the owners names in order to avoid legal actions.

Western Owned agencies. (Pro's).
1. The good ones provide you a mean to contact the owners if you have a dispute.
2. They tend to have better customer service.
3. More reliable ladies and better control over scammers.
4. More Trustworthily.
5. Provides a way to get your money back via credit card services.


FSU Owned agencies (Cons).
1. Most often the agency isn't legal and could disappear overnight.
2. No change of getting a refund if they don't wish it.
3. Hard to locate if they are hiding from the tax police.
4. Quite often they employ professional scammers and working girls.
5. Quite often they use modified or touch up photo's.

FSU Owned agencies (pros)
1. The smaller agencies tend to know that ladies better.
2. Located in the same neighborhood as the ladies.

I do have a few FSU agencies that I recommend. But most of the agencies I recommend are owned by men who came to FSU looking for a wife and started there own agencies.



My advice when seeking any agency is first to work only with the agencies that provide you the owners name and office address on the web site. Once you have verified that they are at least legal then check their policies page and start asking around for people who have used them.

I used to advice running their name though the search engines. But lately compeitor agencies have started creating false web site to attack other agencies and has become more deficult but as long as you search each web site to verify a owner is noted and disregard those site who hide ownership you should be able to identify the good agencies against the scam agencies.

I think rattle refers to agencies that "match" local people in England vs those in the FSU.

Well, I believe in western countries, having a high paid job really makes a difference in the number and quality of dates you can get.

But it goes both ways. Personally, I only date girls that have at least a Bachelor Degree. Most of the girls I have dated are lawyers (for instance my divorce lawyer he he) or MD's.

Rattle has a good point. Even if I am attracted to a girl in a clerical job, I don’t ask her on a date. I am not sure why is that. It isn’t that I think of myself as higher. Maybe is from previous experiences where dating girls w/o degrees have not been good experiences, but maybe I’m using a stupid stereotypes. I am sure that many people w/degrees are also bright and interesting.

In other words, I do not know, maybe is pressure from society.

Too bad!

Just one more reason for going directly to visit. You meet the owner of the business; you’re meeting the ladies in person… I am big for meeting people in person because if you are any good at all at reading body language you can tell who is actually interested in you, and who isn’t.
