Dream about singer John Sebastian (who sang "Welcome Back", "Day Dream")

Hi Everyone,

I had a very clear and interesting dream last night...

I was in some public place (perhaps a hotel or restaurant, and I met and spent time with the American singer John Sebastian (who sang "Welcome Back," "Day Dream," "Do you Believe in Magic," and who was a member of "The Lovin' Spoonful."

I don't know why I met him in my dream, but the dream was very clear and in color...

At the end of the dream, I was standing around and talking to some of my other friends (one of which is a music professor), and I was mentioning to them about John Sebastian, and they were recollecting about what songs he sang, and then I noticed that a slightly-different-looking John Sebastian (wtih a few days old growth of beard) was standing next to me on the side (a few feet away) and he was prompting me with some answers about his Music...

Interesting dream (at least for me )

I don't know what it means, but... I felt like writing about it since I recently woke up and it was fresh on my mind...

(Maybe John Sebastian is a member of this forum? )

How interesting Khashyar! Personally I never remember dreams. And I've only had a couple of those "technicolor" dreams. But when I remember them and they have stuck with me...they always meant something. I believe that you are a spiritual person, and the meaning will become clear very soon.

Keep us posted.

PS: Last night I dreamed Bob sent me a check for $10,000 because he thought I was such a great guy. Did you hear than Bob? Don't fight destiny.......

My wife and I usually discuss our dreams as soon as we awake. So they are fresh in our minds. She even brought a dream book along for meanings. She had one before her family arrived that she would have a big fight with someone close. It hasn't happened yet.

Hi Sid and Steve...

A few years ago I used to regularly write down my dreams in my journal as soon as I woke up. (Nowadays, I feel that I am too busy and have to do something soon after I wake up)...

I do believe that dreams tell us something about ourselves, and that we can reflect upon the dreams that we have had and receive unique meaning from them.

(Also... I seem to dream more often adn sound more soundly when I use earplugs when I sleep to remove the outside noise of Los Angeles Although Lena claims that with ear plugs, I can't hear here when she tells me to move over and give her more sleeping room on the bed )

How bizarre. Our minds are being corrupted by pop-culture.
Well, here's one of my strangest dreams of all time:

In the 3-4 months or so before 11 September, I had a very unusual recurring dream. I had met my first Russian girlfriend that year , and had been corresponding with her for some time. I ultimately ended up travelling to meet her in Moscow in DEC 2001., however this didn't work out.

So, in my dream there always were the same components.

A girl, or person (a watcher?) who was always standing next to me (I think this was my girlfriend)
Always we were standing on the street in front of several very very tall dark structures, and always there were hiundreds of items falling to the ground. I remember thinking something about an airplane crash, but I was confused, because if an airplane crashed shouldn't everything be on the ground? It made absolutely no sense to me that all these personal items would be falling from the sky if this was an airplane crash. I remember looking at some of the items, a purse, a shoe, lots of debris.
Also another scene in the dream consisted of me being in a large building, an airplane was lodged through the building and just resting there. I remember looking under the plane, around the plane, etc.

I must have had this dream 6-8 times. Of course after 9-11 I eventually realized that I was standing in NY on the street under the twin towers.

Needles to say, with all of the stress that resulted from the aftermath of 911, everytime I had a dream I was sure another catastrophe would occur, although it hasn't happened yet.
