I do wish your brother a happy birthday.

However, I don't think that posting a second message regarding sending your brother a birthday message is necessary...

There is already one message where you ask others to send a birthday greeting, so I believe that the first message will serve your purpose.

I don't think that requests for private birthday greetings serve the Highest Good of the members who participate in this forum to share and learn about Russian culture and Russian-Western relationships.
