A senior US diplomat has said Washington would back Ukraine in case of a territorial dispute. Following Russia's war with Georgia last month, Ukrainian and some Western officials have expressed concern that the ex-Soviet republic may be targeted by neighbouring Russia.

We always seem to get dragged into things...

Our Parliment just voted for another 3 years in Afganistan.

My comment was somewhat rhetorical, as the US just seems to be pushing alot of buttons lately, first Pakistan, now they want to get involved in the Ukrainian mess.

Lets face it, US would back anyone againts Russia, even when they are wrong.

Georgia does come to mind

and before another war starts here, i am not political and i watch world news from more than one channel.
