My wife passed her US citizenship test. There were 10 question from the 100 they have listed. It is a written test so if you can't write in english you're outta luck. Did see a few that looked like they failed. Next step after the ceremony is to get a passport.

After I teach her to drive, writing is next. She can write a little now but maybe will pick it up since she sees it everyday now.

Congrats!

She didn't get any questions about the 49th state, Alaska, which was stolen from Russia back in the days of the Czars...

Yes that was 1 mistake the Czars made! Maybe in a different life, AkMike would be a Russian man and drinking vodka for breakfast!

Yes things are COMPLETELY different, now he is an American man drinking Whisky for breakfast!

LOL, for breakfast I stick to Folgers! No foo-foo coffee for me!

IIRC Mr Seward wrote a check to the czar for the purchase of Ak. No thievery involved. Alaska was simply too far away for the czar to semi effectivly govern. Back then it took more that 3 months for a special message to reach the Govenor of AK. the US and Canada had their eyes on it. The 2 million paid was considered a total waste by most of the US. that equals $00.02 per acre.
