Should I insist with a girl or better move on?

Hi there

A couple of months ago, a lovely girl in allsingleRussian send me a wink an other stuff, at that time I did not asnwer because I didn't want to waste the time of that girl (cuz I'm in my last year of college) but I really like her profile and her pics. Now that I have a full membership in the site I wrote a letter to the girl in English and Spanish (her profile stated that she spoke a good level of English and basic Spanish at the moment I wrote to her). AllsingleRussian gives you the options of check when your letter is already read or still unread by girl and if she deleted your letter or not.

I checked back a couple of days ago and my letter was already read by the girl but I got no response, I saw her profile again and this time it stated that her level of English was elementary (not good anymore) and her Spanish was still in the basic level. I know I should wrote to her in Russian (my mistake) and maybe because she was unable to understand the letter.

Should I write to her again this time in Russian ? (with help of translations and stuff) I would like to correspond with her but I do not want to bother her. I was planning to send a letter again translated into Russian telling her that if she doesn't like or has no interest I will not bother her again, but I would like to know that.

Should I insist or better move on?? I asking you guys this because another girl from Ukraine sent me message after message (a total of 8) until I responded back to her. I really like the profile of that girl but I do not want to bother neither become obssesed with her, I only want to know if she would like to correspond with me or not (and also know if she was able or not to understand my previous letter)

I would like to know your advice guys..

Thanks

If this girl from allSingleRussian was serious, she would reply and explain that her English skills where only basic. Give her a bit of time to answer, and if she doesn't - well could be scam then.
Write to the girl from Ukraine, sounds better

The best advice is to write your first letter with many detail about yourself, your interests, your lifestyle, hobbies etc, and also the type of partner that you are seeking. Then have it translated into Russian, as even the girls who SPEAK good english have some trouble understanding exact written meanings.

My wife would take a couple of days at least to reply to any email, she would first spend a lot of time translating into Russian , then write her response and then translate into english and then type it into the computer! And she has been learning English for quite sometime.

Give her a bit of time, she will reply if interested.

Regards

JC

Well having your 1st letter translated into Russian is not a bad idea. Even if the 1st woman is not interested in you, then you can use the letter to write to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or...80th woman.

It is entirely possible that from the first time she sent a "wink" till now she started emailing someone else. She may have read the letter but at the time doesn't want to reply. i.e. She wants to see how things progress with the other person.

OR...

She may not have time to reply

OR

a myriad of other reasons.

My suggestion, wait a few more days, then send your letter to her in Russian. With just a quick one liner at the top saying something like,

"I wrote to you before in English but I have know had the opportunity to have my letter translated into Russian and I am still interested in getting to know you."

I would always end my letters with something like,
"If I have caught your attention, send me an email back."
It is a very subtle marketing trick -- I am giving the woman a command and strangely enough it would usually work. Even if the reply was as simple as, "I am not interested" or "I am communicating with someone else."

Best of luck, Link.

If you decide to use software translation, always translate it back into English to see if it makes sense, because often it does not!!
With care, google translation or babelfish etc can give good results, but certain words, or word combinations can cause problems.

Thanks for the tip, in fact I wrote a few phrases in Russian today to a new Russian girl and I did exactly that (I translated back to English and I didn't put what it did not make sense I). This new lady seems interested, too bad she cannot speak a single word of English (and too bad I'm not fluent in Russian yet). If I keep in touch with her I will need to start hiring professional translators and improve my knowledge of Russian as quick as I can. The other girl from the Ukraine is fluent in Spanish by the way.

I suspect this adventure of getting an Slavic wife is going to be a long, hard, complicated and expensive one, but I don't care I knew that already when I decided to begin. Anyway it will be even more difficult and complicated to find a nice wife here in MX that's for sure.

Hi there Easy Target

I suspect it's the first option (she started emailing someone else) I will wait a couple of days and if she doesn't answer well there are plenty of fish in the sea...

Take your time. I talk with at least 7 to 10 lady's before i meet my wife. And I send her 2 letters before she replied back to me. But take your time and look at everything twice. Goodluck and keep us updated.

I would never try to "insist", if you don't get a reply after about 2 weeks, try sending another e-mail {better in Russian language}. You might mention that you got her "wink" and ask if she could let you know if she is still interested. If still no reply - move on...

Just a thought here....Now is a very good to time to decide if you really will learn to speak some russian. If you are not good with languages--like myself--you should limit your searching to ladies who can actually speak english. It is sort of interesting that about the time I started looking, my present wife started taking english lessons. by the time I figured out what I was doing and really looking for (about two years), Lola was speaking very good english and we were able to hit it off very nicely when I visited.
I still feel badly about my trip to moscow because I did not take the time to really sit down and THINK about what I wanted, needed and doing. Divorce can really turn you around and I hate the thought that I basically jerked a nice girl in moscow around.
Oh, good luck!
sorry to be a little bit of a downer.

Maybe she was on a long vacation...maybe she decided to stop writing someone else...and is now writing you.

Either way best of luck and hopefully things will progress well for you.
