OK guys, I could use a suggestion or some advice on something here.

In the past I have always used "pay" services (agencies) that basically controlled the letters being sent, but mine eyes have been opened and thus I have found the light. Problem is the light is blinding me.

I am trying to contact some ladies on freepersonals*ru and I have this 1st class intro letter that i have elaborately constructed, but I don't know if it is "proper" to send this in their little message box. Should I send a quick "Hey how are you, my name is Matt, here is my email address, email me if you think we could be the greatest couple on the face of the earth" message or should I cut and paste the intro letter...all 3.5 pages with Russian translation?

Dilimeas are murder. I'll be holding my breath until the masses speak!

As always, all of the help you guys pour forth is really appreciated!

My feeling is you should send the entire letter to stand out from the crowd. Women there get hundreds of short messages every day and you have to interest them.

And including the English and Russian translations are a nice touch too.

Udachi,

You guys are great. Thanks,

If your using translation software to create the Russian version of your letter, make sure you back translate it to be sure it sounds ok before you send it.

Yeah, the software is not like having a real person translate it for you, but it works. I spent probably 5 times longer trying to rewrite some things in order for the back translation to match my initial words. I finally got it (I think) and I am hot and heavy firing my shotgun through out Ukraine tonight!!! Still in my first box of shells, but it is getting low.

Thanks again,

Hey guys (and gals),

I am firing off some emails to ladies using freepersonals*ru, but I am wondering about some of the profiles. I noticed that some show that the lady hasn't logged on in some time (some of the them over 100 days ago). Anybody have any idea if I could even remotely expect an answer from these "historic" profiles?

Thanks,

You never know Matt. Sometimes they have to go to an internet cafe and it takes awhile to fit it into her schedule. On the other hand she may not be looking anymore or just isn't as enthusiastic as she once was about the whole process. If her # of men who added her to favorites is low she may be discouraged but might still check in once in awhile or could be waiting for the email notification that freepers has as an option to logging in all the time.

I say send a letter and see what happens.

Well, I am working through the list (favorites) that I developed over the past few days. I have taken the "shotgun" approach and have sent out 36 in the past hour and a half. Some of them have logged on within the past 24 hours and like I said, others are pushing out to nearly 4 months. I guess I'll have some data in the next few weeks. I have another 50 or so to go...so probably won't make it tonight, but there is always tomorrow.

Thanks,
