Russia Waives Visa Requirement for Football Fans

Due to the large football(soccer)championship in Russia, the Russian government has waived the visa requirements for fans.

Effectively, if you have a ticket for the game, you do NOT need a visa to enter Russia, due to the extraordinary circumstance.

Showing a ticket for the game makes you exempt from getting a visa. But keep this in mind:
(1) The visa-free period is only good for 72 hours following the end of the game.
(2)You must have your ticket stub, as well as the immigration form you received on the aircraft, otherwise you will get fined.
(3)You must have two free pages open in your passport.
