Quick question if anyone has used an IM program called QIP? One of the ladies I am writing to wanted me to download it so we could chat. Is this a legit program or am I going to have a computer clogged up with spyware?

Johnny, It could be legit I don't know, do a google search and see if anything untowards crops up.

I use Pidgin and it can connect to MSN, Yahoo, Google, ICQ, and many others, the only one I know it can't do yet is Skype so I have that to for when I want to chat on cam.

QIP is a program that can connect to many different IM programs. It mainly supports ICQ and you can type in Cyrillic letters ~ since it was developed by a Russian programmer.

It is a legit program. I don't know if you will get spam into your email account after you register the program. I would create a yahoo email account and use that email address for registering QIP.
