Lvov to Ternopil Trains

A friend of mine wants to visit relatives in Ternopil.....would rather fly into Lvov, since the airport is closer than Kyiv. Anyone know the frequency of trains between the two cities?(If it exists..)

According to http://www.poezda.net/en/station_ti...Date=08-05-2008, yes they do offer train service. I checked several days and all showed a train between Lvov and Ternopil, so I am guessing daily (enter the date you are interested in to make sure).
