Minimum Airport Connection Times-FSU

Some of you have asked about Minimum connection times at airports...
Well, here are some of the mimums, by categories......Domestic and International......set by aviation authorities.....
D-to-D D-to-I I-to-I I-to-D
UKRAINE
(KBP)Kiev/Boripspol 2:00 2:00 2:00 2:00
(IEV)Kiev/Zhulhany 0:40 0:40 0:40 0:40
(ODS)Odessa 0:20 1:00 1:00 1:00
(DOK)Donetsk 0:20 1:00 1:00 1:00
(DNK)Dnepropetrovsk 0:40 0:50 0:50 0:50

BELARUS
(MSQ)Minsk-2 1:00 1:00 1:00 1:00

MOLDOVA
(KIV)Chishinau 0:20 1:00 1:00 1:00

GEORGIA
(TBS)Tblisi 0:20 1:00 1:00 1:00

A few notes....(1) this is just the "standard" connection times. Some flights are required to have a longer connection time, and others are allowed to have less.

(2)I didn't get into Russia yet, due to the sheer number of airports
(3)The minimum connection time, Domestic-to-Domestic, at Sheremetyvo
shows 0:20. Have not been there myself, but sounds unrealistic. And I would imagine, lots of exceptions to the standard minimum.
(4)Yerevan seems to have the opposite situation. They have a three-hour minimum for DOMESTIC connections. Anyone been there? Is this a maximum security thing? Is there construction? Or both?
(5)Kiev/Zhulhany, for all practical purposes, is domestic only, though they have facilities to process international trips.
(6)There are some FSU airports that do not have a set standard on connection time.......and are generally smaller.......such as Simferopol, Mogilev, etc...

Raspberry, did you find anything on the connection time for domestic to International here in the states? Specifically CVG to JKF to SVO. The Delta lady did say that 57 minutes was a legal connection time I don't know who made those rules or what, but thats what she said to me

19 Days to Moscow and Egypt

Delta Domestic to Delta International at JFK "officially" should be 1:10. I think you should make it still, after studying what is out there.

Just make sure that you get the connection boarding pass while in Columbus, so the folks in JFK can see that you're checked in.

I can do that in Columbus? I don't have to wait till Cincy?

You know what I might do tomorrow, is do a test booking of that same routing, and see if it comes up as "illegal"......if it is, it will say "check connection time"....

The Delta lady said they run that flight every day, so it must be working.

On most carriers----and even on their commuter affiliates, you should be able to get ALL of the boarding passes....providing the system is up and running.

20 minutes ~ crazy talk. SVO 1 is a small airport though I can't remember the exact number of gates - I think 4 or 5. There are no loading bridges, take the bus out to the plane. You went on the ground level for the bus. Usually they wait till everyone arrives before busing people out to the plane.

20 minutes between flights, couldn't imagine it, since you need to take a bus to the terminal and then move over to the other gate to take another bus. And there is no way they are getting your luggage over in time.

45 minutes seems more reasonable.
