Hi DMC....

I saw your question and I wanted to try to answer it the best I can...

Regarding the "last activity" information on the profiles in the personals.... I removed that function today from the personals because I thought it was confusing.

Most Russian women do NOT have computers at home, and must use either their government Post Office or an internet cafe to use the internet.... Since they must pay at least $1 per hour (and the average salary in Russia is about $100), they usually just check their emails and do not have the money to browse the internet or to spend time updating their profiles.

Also, since most Russian women are not familiar with dating programs (like match.com, kiss.com and ours), they have a difficult time logging on and navigating through their profile and the personals software....

So, usually, most of the women who have profiles on our website have found out about our personals through our Russian language website and have emailed Lena their profile information, and then Lena has put their pofile in the personals program herself.

This is also why women do not usually update their profiles (because they don't have the money nor the knowledge to spend time on the internet)...

I hope that this answers your first question....

Regarding your second question about not being able to post Russian language text on your profile.....

Lena said that a person CAN post and read Russian characters in the personals....

In order to be able to view them, after you open up the webpage with the Russian text in Internet Explorer, you need to click on "view" at the top of the page, and then "encoding" and then "Cyrillic Windows"...
