Are men's profiles in the photo personals translated into Russian? (& internet access

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but are the Men's profiles (which are obviously in English) translated into Russian for the women to read, or must the women translate them themselves?

Thanks.

Hi Rick,

To reply to your question, women on this site or any other of its type, usually only post their profile and then begin to check their email. They normally have to use an internet cafe to connect to the internet so they don't use their valuable time to peruse the profiles on these sites. They also expect you to email them and tell them pretty much what you would write in your profile. they also expect you to send them photos. Don't expect these women to contact you first. It won't happen!! Also remember that even though they may say in their profile they know some english, most likely it is very little so you may want to use a translation program or a service such as Lena offers to translate your letters into Russian Cyrillic.

Thanks, Kevin. I wondered about that, since I had read that access to the internet is limited. As for Lena's translation service, I'm waiting to receive the translation even as we speak. ;o)

Hello Guys!

Yes, I agree with Kevin about viewing men's profiles in the personals. Most Russian women are not familiar with the internet and don't know how to view the information of men. They don't have any money nor free time to brows the Internet, and they are not so educated in this area.

But anyway, to help women more easily access and view men's profiles, I've created a "men's catalogue" section (which is seperate from the personals) with more easily accessible email addresses for women:

http://www.russianmeetingplace.com/..._men_main_1.htm

One thing that I can do in the future is to translate the men's personal information and profiles into the Russian language.

To help men and women more easily meet, I also send men's profiles to my friends, and they give it to their friends and women who wish to have communication with men.

Also I'm opening an office in Belarus, so I will send all of our men's profiles to our branch office manager there, and she will show this catalog to women.

For the men who have paid for a personals membership (and who have a profile and photos posted in the personals), as well as for some additional men who I feel would be interesting for the Russian women we work with, I have included their profile into this men's catalogue without any charge to them.

About MisterKnightly's translation. It's finished and I'm going to send it in about 30 minutes. So you will be able to send it to the intended lady. It' s nice information, and an interesting letter.

Good luck with your search!

Lena

I just checked my e-mail and saw the translation. Thanks, Lena! It's tough to know what to say and not say in an introductory letter, so your reassurance that it is "nice information, and an interesting letter" is VERY welcome.

Thanks again.
