New Kharkiv Aerocompany Flight

Kharkiv Aerocompany started flights from Kharkiv to Washington/Dulles airport today. This flight should prove to convenient for those going to that part of Ukraine. It is not a daily flight. KHAR only operates on Tuesdays and Saturdays, using a 330 Airbus.

Throughout the D.C. area, the "KHAR is in Washington" ads have appeared in newspapers, and on a couple of billboards.

One visitor from Iran found these ads amusing. The man, whose name is Reza Ali, says "my brother-in-law lives in Seattle, and he is an IDIOT. I am glad someone is letting the world know that!!". He adds, "but they really need to paint a donkey on the tail of that plane".

In Farsi, the word "khar" literally means "donkey", but is often used for "stupid" or "idiot".

Speaking of idiots, if you really believe that this story, then you probably are one! Have a happy April Fool's Day!
