Does anyone know if there is a reliable source to locate people in the Ukraine? I was just reminiscing with a college buddy about the many exchange students we knew from all over and suddenly I remember a couple of Ukrainians who used to live in our building.

I know it's probably a long shot but I still have their first and last names so I figured what the hey!

Well, the obvious one: did you do a google search? And the other thing is, everyone is using odnoklassniki.ru
Yes, i saw you wrote Ukraine but odnoklassniki is the equivalent of classmates.com and it is extremely widely used in FSU.

Skype also has a people search if they're registered. Tanya has found several friends by name and 1 geographically, (by town)
