Where Are They Now?

I have been reading some of the old threads and there are some fascinating stories. It seems as if a lot of guys disappear once they get married but personally I am very curious as to how things are going, good or bad.

Perhaps some of you old-timers can coax some fellow old-timers back for a few moments to give us an update on where things stand today.

I was reading about Smoovement for example. Is he still going strong or did it fizzle away?

I’ve been gone a while too and logged back online to get a post I made about my wife and our first meeting for our 1 year anniversary. I’d love to post some pics, but I can never seem to get it to work.

April 21st is our first wedding anniversary, I’ve been back to the states about six months. After a year and a half living in Russia I really do miss it. Getting back on my feet has been tough but it’s going well.

Sveta rocks, as usual. She’s doing well and spent the tax season preparing returns for a national tax prep franchise. Odd because she was a tax inspector for the Federal government in Russia. She also started a job at a local bank. She likes to work, and goes to the gym like crazy. Like all relationships we have some disagreements, but nothing that would ever make me question my decision to marry. What else would be of interest to you guys? Homesickness… not too bad. I have a voip phone and she calls daily, it’s running about $65 a month (would be unlimited for 35 if her family lived in Moscow or St Petes), we webcam with her folks and some of my friends fairly regularly.

We’re hoping to get back to visit in August for a few weeks. This also might be of interest, but we just took a cruise and had no problems with her visiting with her green card and Russian passport (even though panama said they required a visa, she never needed it a waste of $70).

Nothing too exciting, just a couple living our lives.

Hope you all are doing well…

Jeff
