Whats the best source for reporting a scammer?

Many of you who have seen my posts in the past are not going to believe this, or, maybe you will...

Recently, I received email from a 35 year old Russian woman from Mari El. The photos were great so I decided to play along. We emailed a few times then she wanted my phone number so she could call me and hear my voice. I sent it...it is unlisted...was that a mistake?

I asked how she got my email since I have been out of this loop almost 2 years now. She wrote back Match.com...that's not possible since I haven't been with them since 2001 at least and I changed emails at least 3 times since then.

She then vanished. All of my emails are returned undeliverable...

That's not the real issue here though. My curiosity was peaked and I decided to go back and look at a few sites and profiles. Guess what? My ex wife is back using professional photos that I paid for!

She's on Merrydating.com, 1st or second page under 51 year old women in Ukraine...beautiful, huh?

Lyudmila Semenykhina.

Some of you may recall that one time her son asked me as he was stealing from the internet..."how many emails do you think I can send in 1 second?" I answered "one?" He laughed and sneered "30"...

Notice on the site she says 1 child...well, we all know now that she has 3 sons which I also found out about after the die were cast. Check her out, see how it goes for you...She told me once that she has also been to Japan and that she lived in France for 18 months...

So, now what's the best way to get her on a blacklist? I really think it's a money making game for her youngest son and her. I know I sent them a lot of money for English lessons etc before they even got here and remember, she was the one who refused to speak any English once they were here...

Just too bizarre...

So RK, do you think there is a connection between the 35 year old woman and your ex-wife?

Posted by: rk288

Not at all...the main question is related to my curiosity tonight where I see the photo I paid $100 for and the realization that this is an ongoing money game.

How do I best warn others?

OK, but then that does raise the question as to how the 35 year old got my email, doesn't it?

RK

Yup, and now she has your phone number as well.

By the way, I'm not trying to ignore it, I just don't have an answer to your question. Perhaps others who are more familiar with your situation do have an answer.

And that goes where? What do phone numbers do???

Nice looking lady

Posted by: goforit

Well I'm assuming your phone number is unlisted for a reason.

The real question is the best resource for putting a scammer on a solid blacklist. I don't think there is anything anyone can do with a phone number...
