Do any of them like to stay home?

I recently met a FSU woman living in the U.S. It seems like she never stays home--every time I call her she is out with friends eating, bowling, at parties. She says she "loves life". I noticed this phrase in a lot of profiles at Elenas's site. Do most FSU women like to go somewhere every night? I don't mind going out on weekends, but I would want to spend a significant amount of time at home with just me and the missus. The lady I am seeing lives quite a distance from me, by the way, so all this going out is making things very difficult.

Just taking a guess here but if she is young or a recent "transplant" I would say yes ... for the most part. These women have a lot of energy because they are usually in great shape from walking every where every day! For the newbies ... the newness hasn't worn off, like a kid in a candy store.

If they are older and have children then I would say they are less likely to want to always be on the go.

I know when my fiancee arrives, next month hopefully, she will be home all alone while I'm at work and I am prepared to at least go out for an hour or 2 for dinner or visiting family. She does like to stay home for a day or 2 but then she needs to break out! We are of course an older then most couple.

She's in her mid 40's actually, and has been in the U.S. 8 years. Divorced 8 months after being separated nearly 2 years. I am quite smitten with her, but I am getting the impression she is less than excited about me. So now I am looking at Elena's website and wondering if "loves life" means "easily bored, and can't stand to be bored". It seems to turn up regularly in the profiles, and it would drive me batty to be married to a woman who had to go out more than she stayed in.

I would think at first she would like a tour of your city and meet your friends and family. You will also need to take her shopping, can't get a whole lot in the 2 suitcases she brings. She will also need driving lessons. Then I'm sure she will want to do some traveling also.

Be prepared to be busy if you should decide to find a woman from the FSU.

Define "Older"......and does "Wiser" go with that?

Well I'm 53, much older then most members here. Older never means wiser ... just more years of experience. Some people never learn from their mistakes.

Just keep in mind that you won't change her at this point. If you want a party gal for fun and frolics that haver at it. She's not going to be looking for a white picket fence now. If that's what you want then I think you're looking in the wrong spot.

You are right of course. I need to find a better place for my heart than on my sleeve. I met her on eharmony, in her profile and the guided communication process she said all the right things. We should have been a great match. That and even at 47, she is one of the most beautiful women I have ever met. I thought we got along really well when we met in person also. Oh well, time to move on.

Since you posted this thread, I asked my Lady what her normal nights during the week would be like, whether she liked to go out and do things or just stay home and relax? She gave me the right answer, stay home and relax and wait for the weekends to do things. I hope it was her honest answer and not the one she thought I wanted to hear, I hate when women do that...LOL

Yeah I casually ask that question early on so as not to raise any suspicions and to get an honest answer.

The lightbulb finally came on over my head, and I realized that the type of woman who is willing to leave her home, her country, and everone she knows to start a new life in a foreign land is probably not going to be a stay-at-home woman. She is adventurous!

After this moment of clarity, I did a bit more cruising the net, and came across a site that recommended men searching for FSU women watch a particular movie about 3 Russian women, so the man will understand the type of woman he is likely to find is not the traditional stay-at-home housewife, because the traditional housewife is not typically the type of woman that is going to undertake the big adventure and risk of marrying a foreigner and moving to a land where she knows practically no one and barely speaks the language.

You guys probably knew this already. I'm just starting to figure it out.
