Well I've registered as new member as I haven't posted for about 4 years. I suppose I was one of the guys that maybe people hoped I achieved a happy ending to my quest when I disappeared.
Well I did have very happy experience, I started out about 5 years ago, met my Russian wife in Tashkent, we married maybe 18 months later, now we are married over 3 years and have a 4 month baby girl.
I realise maybe I was lucky, didn't really have any bad experiences, reason I'm here is that my wife's cousin has seen how happy we are and has asked for our help as she has just started to try to find a partner, but so far hasn't been so lucky, running into a few time wasters.

I have met her in person, she is lovely young lady, 22 years with a one year old daughter, definitely serious about finding someone, preferably from UK / Europe, has studied English last 6 months, she has own computer at home , is not with agency.
I have her photos, but prefer not to post on forum, pls
Email my wife on lanabosley@mail.ru

Hello Islander and welcome back.

Congrats on your success and your baby girl!!!

I think all the Brits are recently married or getting married, a little busy if you know what I mean!

Take care and congrats again!

Islander,

I have been trying to do the same for my mother-in-law with no success in the past six months. Lots of interest, as she is an attractive 51 year old who loves house work, but when it comes to actually meeting up no guys have the balls to do it. While she was here at the end of last year, some arranged meetings only to text just before to say they cannot make it and then we never hear from them again. There are alot of time wasters and keyboard Romeo's out there.

I hope you have success sooner rather than later.

Welcome back Islander, as GTR says, most of the guys from the UK who visit here now are either married or in the process of getting married, I for one am getting married 29th March in Ukraine.

Hi Chris

Best of luck hope it all works out well for you.

I gotta say over the last few years I've met quite alot of Anglo Russian couples, all getting on great.

Sites like this are great help in the process.

Hey Swindoon ! we were maybe near neighbours, I'm originally from near Didcot.

I'm not hitched yet, but I am rather busy and not posting much; I do read the forums every day.
Still looking but concentrating on one "girl" right now. She is still freaking out of the flowers I sent her for Valentines :-) Says I am crazy to spend that much on flowers and perfume; but that it IS lovely perfume, and she has never had such beautiful flowers.

Congrats with the marriage and little girl; they are lovely as they learn to walk and talk; then they learn to say "Nyet!" and its all done hill from then.

Hello,

I am a new member and contacting you from a television production company, Zigzag Productions based in London. We are looking to produce a documentary which looks at British women turning the traditional mail order roles on their heads and getting online or otherwise to find their future partners outside of the UK.

We have since found a UK and Ukraine based agency that is looking to start up the first mail order husbands site that is soon to launch in the UK but we are extremely keen to discover whether any existing couples are living in the UK, where British women have actively sought a foreign (Russian/Ukrainian) husband and asked him to relocate to their home in the UK or Ireland.

I have placed this post once already on this new member's forum but was hoping that if anyone knew any existing couples of individuals who fit these descriptions that they might mention it to them in the hope that they might be willing to talk to me and help with my research?

Looking forward to hearing any news anyone might have!

thanks for your time,
Jess x

Jess,

You do not endear yourself to forum members by using the term "mail order", it implies you are buying a product. They are just international internet dating/introduction agencies, similar to match.com or datingdirect.co.uk.
