I have been communicating with a young lady from Belarus for a few months now.All has been quite well.A strange thing has occured and I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of RW being scamed.I am speaking of by a marriage service or internet meeting service.I am still gathering details.I will say that we know that our privacy has been violated.Any information about RW being taken advantage of will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, sportbud

Hmmm I don't know of anyone personally that this has happened to. Seems like I might have read about this somewhere but can't recall where.

I imagine if you are corresponding through an agency, they are reading your stuff but then again, that's expected. I guess we need more info.

We only made contact through a meeting service that was free.

I think, Laters is asking, what makes you think that your lady is being scammed?

Can you be more specific on this?

The Details that I am sure of at this point.I sent her an e-mail through a free personals website and it was forwarded to her. This was our first contact. We have been coresponding by our own e-mail address ever since.

Well last night she called to tell me of the most shocking thing. She had just seen one of her friends and they were just catching up on what is going on.The friend was telling her that she had met an american and that they had been corresponding.
(The friend does not read or speak english.)She showed her a few letters that she had received. One letter was one that I had sent to my girlfriend.Word for word including identical spelling mistakes. All that was changed was the names. The other letter was one that my girlfriend had sent me.Word for word with only the names changed.

I am upset and so is she.I can only think that her system has been hacked into.Maybe someone is stealing what they think makes a well written letter and then using it as fake correspondense to keep people interested or get them more involved. As I am sure you will agree that many of these web sites are the same company.

I should get more details this weekend as we speak every Friday.

I would appreciate any input about this.

Thanks, sportbud
