Shaun: do you mean what is the going rate for a monthly apartment rental? Usually for $300-$400 USD you can get an apartment in the Ukraine, but your mileage may vary.

I was wondering how much a Ukranian would be paying for apartment rental when their average wage is $200, what percentage of their wages would this take up.Just trying to prove someone is lying to me again.

My wife's brother was renting an apartment for $100/month. It was a hole with a leaking roof and mold growing on the walls. They moved back with mom before anyone developed health problems.

remember, that often citizens of the FSU were given their apartments by the government during the soviet period. often gas is also supplied by the gov't, but other utilities are the tenants' responsibility.
