Between my nerves and reflecting on the "grilling" I received I am a bit nervous, etc...

Soon I will be in Omsk, Southwest Siberia.

This Angelino (a native of Los Angeles) will be leaving my reasonably cold weather to soon become.......

FROZEN!!!!

Ok, Ok, alright, alright........ I knew what I was getting into...

well, sort of.... I'm in trouble now

Ok... well it will be interesting, fun, etc. I will finally meet a woman who I have much interest in and seems to have the same ideas and thoughts that I have.

I can only think of two things in which we differ. Religion and she may need to understand some monetary issues better. I know she won't understand some of this unless she sees and experiences it first hand.

Fine.

Another interesting point is that I will stand out very much in Omsk.

Not a problem, I don't mind. People are naturally curious and if the have questions thats fine as I like talking to people. I guess it will be a learning experience for me and some of the residents of Omsk

Of course, Andrei's help is indespensable and GREATLY appreciated, to say the least!

You will have a great time, if you let yourself. Don't worry too much about the cold. In January, I spent more time thinking that it was too hot indoors, rather than it was too cold outside! Remember, many Russian buildings in the city are heated by a central heating plant. Too hot inside? You'll find out what the little window that opens up is for.

Go, enjoy yourself, and learn some about your lady friend. Spend more time enjoying each other's company, and less time trying to cover all the details. That's what chemistry is all about, giving us the ability and time to endure all of the detail stuff.

Ah, yes, the anticipation!

I uess it doesn't help that she will be out of town until 2 days before I arrive!

I just have to sit, no communication, wondering what the grilling was about....... left to my own devices!

It self inflicted I tell ya!

Well, i'll hav fun. I'm bringing a video camera, digital camera and a laptop.

LOL, I bet my laptop will be the only Macintosh to have ever been in Omsk. Try finding tech support or an Apple dealer there!!!!

I felt the same way each time I went to Russia,and every thing was fine.Try to think of the good things that may happen.
You are going to see someone you care about,what could possibaly go wrong ( don't answer that )

Have a great trip and we all want to hear the great stories of your trip when you get back.

Don't forget to take alot of pictures, 1 picture can be worth a thousand words.
