Hello!

I have a question after seeing a few posts here regarding advertising in newspapers in the section about agencies here.

First, a few guys said they got a lot of letters, 50+. How do you respond to them, or do you ignore them? Are there a lot of scammers that respond to these ads?

I wrote a few letters to an agency listed here (I saw a post from another guy about it) they offered a few letters free and then a paid service. Anyone use this? Like try before you buy. The owner says they verify identity, marital status, etc by Ukraine passport, is this common? It seems like a good idea to me. The totally free sites seem to have too many agencies and scammers on them, I would rather use one or two agencies. Anyway, I got a few nice letters from ladies there and hope to continue corresponding so I will see.

It is a little new to me so any help from you vets is appreciated.

This is a big answer to your small question.

There are pro's and con's to anything, The best advice I can give is: Use common sense!!!!!

If your first email from a girl says something like, "I want to treat you like a man, be your sex slave, make love to you 24/7" That's a scam.
What are you looking for? A slut or a wife and mother of your children?

If you get reply's that seems like a person wrote them, "Hi my name is Olga, I read your ad and hope we can become friends" I would say talk to that person. I hope you see the difference.

FSU women are no different than AW. They have the same likes and dislikes. It just seems that FSU women are more in to family life styles than AW are.

Paid dating site vs. free sites. That's a personal call. I would say try the free sites and see what happens. That way you have a taste of what's going on and you don't lose any money.

In your ad I would state that "you want to be friends first, then we will see what happens." That way if you get a e-mail that say anything about marriage or love, you may have a scam on your hands.

Keep other things in mind. This is going to cost you money!!! If you meet a girl it will cost you to see her. If you go to a paid site, it will cost you money to talk to her. So never think this is going to be free! Be picky and be careful. "USE COMMON SENSE"

Last thing is: Never send money to anybody! I don't care how bad there life is, I heard it all from my mother is dying to if you pay for the visa I can have sex with you.

First off, I have never read anything about a woman from the FSU coming to the US on her own, with a tourist visa. It doesn't happen, stop thinking it may be true. It is a flat out lye!

OK, this is very brief but I hope it gives you a idea on what to do. If your still stump, ask away and somebody will point you in the correct direction.

Hi,I would like to say Spamer had some very good advice.
Use COMMON SENCE, AND NEVER EVER SEND MONEY.

I would also like to add to this, when recieving letters from a girl, watch to see if the letters are numbered,#1,#2, 1,2
Some times they will have prewriten letters that they will send out to everyone, and if they do not answer your questions,be carefull.
Oh,and make sure it is your name at the top of the letter or at the end,I have had some where they sent me two letters, one with my name and one with someone elses name, but identical letters.

Thanks for the help so far. I know the scamming is a big problem. I think I'll go with an agency that provides proof of the identity as I saw in the other posts.
After taliking with some on another board I think that it is a good idea to visit these women as soon as I can, after corresponding with them for a short time. I understand it is expensive, but for me it is not a problem. To enter the search if you are afraid to spend a little money seems a little foolish for me. Plus the free sites allow a lot of scammers and agencies and already it is frustrating. So to pay for an agency to help me out seems a little better idea for me personally.
