Amazing-women & a-pretty: my take on these agencies

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: Theorem

Found this forum while viewing Kiev Connections run by Brett Ousley
and reading the trip report by Rob King. Thank you for allowing me to read some of the experiences of other posters and for the privilege of registering.

Instead of writing a review in typical format, I decided to post the message I just sent to the service center of amazing-women (I did not spend any money with them yet) concerning two false messages I received from what I had filtered out as perceived genuine profiles.

'amazing-women' and 'a-pretty' are part of a huge agency network, trading profiles and re-hashing messages from one profile to another in order to generate purchases of units. Actually there are about 10 different websites which all database the same profiles. Hanuma actually lists all the affiliated websites and cross advertises one to another via banner ads and the like...

In comparison, Some legitimate agencies state upfront that their matchmaking service is US$1000 - $2000 inclusive. And that is fair and appropriate in my view. If a gentleman has not that kind of cash up front, then it will be very challenging for him to go on the costly excursion far far away, in order to date, woo and accommodate a foreign lady of any origin for immigration and long term cohabitation. Thats just my view.

The problem I see with the 'Hanuma way' of providing introduction service is gradually and subtly extracting smaller amounts of dollars from your ccard, while pretending to offer you direct contact to ladies they profile - which are collected from over 20 agencies across Ukraine and Russia. This way, the actual dollar extraction from your person could very well be higher than the up front fees legitimate agencies request. Especially if they can get you hooked emotionally to one or two girls (or some drunken sputnik in a back room) and continually have you ordering units for their continual middle man involvement.
Its quite a clever way to generate income.

Personally, I am off to try the free websites quoted as reliable here on other postings. I also have tried 'loveme' which sells addresses to you without further involvement (unless you are a US resident). I have had positive results sending postal letters. There is also 'foreignladies' which is a web-based $7.50 per mail messaging sister site to 'loveme'. Blame IMBRA, thats the reason, my understanding, why fee-based messaging site format is now being used.

I am willing to divulge further my experiences thus far; having yet to visit Ukraine personally. But I am sure the message below is sufficient.

enjoy.

THANK YOU Olga, for taking time to respond.

I do appreciate the effort you put in to your perceived sense of service communication and your attempt to placate my concerns.

Yet, after considering the overall situation with your web based service, along with my experience over these past 8 months viewing your profile catalogues, and then on Jan 1st actually being able to see - for free - what the messages are that your affiliate agencies are sending me (and NOT from the girls themselves) I must say your answer to this specific support ticket is rubbish.

You might find that a harsh; Please allow me the consideration that anyone who views the evidence I provided you can clearly see that the same exact fake false crappy message was sent to me - using two different names - and from TWO DIFFERENT AGENCIES. Because the girls profiles used to send the crappy message were from two different parts of the Ukraine.

Look, I don’t begrudge your intention to make money from guys who want to believe they are contacting real live ladies they see on the profiles (when actually it is Vlad or Ivan sitting in a small dimly lit empty room with endless amounts of cigarettes and vodka consumption), but seriously Olga, if you are going to scam me, please do it in a sensitive, professional and elegant manner. Why I request this so?

Because you are wanting me to spend upwards of $300 USD just to buy credits in order to send electronic messages to god knows who... And you will not even allow me the ability to learn her email address unless I gain her telephone number. Why one and not the other? How does this make any sort of business sense? Oh, I see, so you can give me a false telephone number and have a translator pretend to be a girl I see on the posted profile. Is that the trick?

And how many back and forth messages do I need to send, receive, read and answer before I get the magic telephone number? And what if your vlad or ivan give me one digit off? … So I am then left begging to get the correct number after a few more back and forth messages, costing me credits at $4 per unit...

You see Olga, The futility of this game you arrange and entice me to play is now very real and apparent to me. I am still wondering what is THE target amount you desire to extract from me in Dollars (which I am forced to use to buy units so I can communicate with vlad or ivann or dmitri, or your brother Lev). Is the magic number US$500? US$1000? What is the amount I need to hand over to you in order to actually be able to contact a serious, sincere, honest and focused lady who lives in the Ukraine and seeks connection with a western gentleman such as I?

Why not just tell me up front what the payoff you seek so I can get on with direct and personal communications. I don’t see why I am side-tracked with meaningless intro messages, chipping away at my units each time, so Vlad and Ivan can get to know me better. I have no interest in your brother Lev or your cousin Sergei. And just by the sheer number of messages you deposit into my inbox each week, I will not have the focus to determine which message is genuine and which is done by the agency who happened to take bikini photos of some girl who dreams of becoming a model in Paris.

I truly feel disappointment because I can tell that about 30% of the girls listed on your web site are indeed true persons, real intentions and committed seriously about meeting a man for "creation of primary family". Yet it is all the 'work' and effort and distraction of having to filter out the other 70% of crap profiles and crap messages I have read thus far that is quite discouraging. Discouraging enough for me to just put an end to this connection I have had with your website.

Maybe you don’t care how I feel or how I view your business nature and how you operate. And I am fine with that. Gauging from what I have read on Russian and Eastern Europe dating forums, your conglomerate of sites run by Oleg Syedyshev - via Hanuma - do not have a positive reputation.

One fortunate result of the time over these past 8 months for which I have spent viewing dozens of new profiles which have the home agency add dozens of new messages to my inbox each week, is that there are truly many worthy and serious and sincere girls in the Ukraine (my country of choice for my search) very much willing to communicate openly and honestly. Yet unfortunately, if she is to rely solely on your agency service exclusively, she will not be getting a message from me. And with that, please be aware that I am withdrawing my profile forthwith.

Good luck to you and may your web operation provide you with success you seek. I am grateful for the experience received from being a member thus far. Many blessings to you and to Ivann, Vlad, Dmitri, Sergei, Lev and all the other fake message authors who have diligently provided me with constant reminders of my ultimate goal of finding a worthy life partner from the land of ancient Scythia and Khazar.

Message 3/3 Jan 04, 2008 03:40 p.m. Olga, manager
Hello!
We checked the situation. When the ladies came to the agency they didn't know what to write in the intro letters and our local agency gave mould. It was a mistake by our local agency. The ladies are real.
Best wishes,
Olga

(my initial message to Olga about the fake message problem)

Thank you much for the day of free reading of the intro letters from the ladies. (Special offer on Jan 1st.)

I discovered one duplicate set from two separate girls:
am26146
and
am29411

sent me the SAME EXACT LETTER.

I have not deleted them yet so you can read them for yourself. It does make me wonder how much the other intro letters i received are similar rubbish. Can you give me some assurance that I am not about to be scammed here, just before I am to purchase a quantity of units?

here they are below:

A Scorpio woman is partly a sorceress. She can easily recognize her favored one from the first sight. And he has no any chance but to submit her charms. She either loves passionately or hates terribly. She is jealousy herself and doesn't like to be jealoused. And it is so difficult to resist a jealousy to the Scorpio as she often attracts men's glances.
In such a way people describe this zodiac sign and I must say that I completely agree with it. My name is Aleksandra (in Greek it means «winner»). Being attractive I always win and i hope I'll be lucky in private life. I'd like to have relationships with a good man based on trust, mutual understanding and love. I hope you will notice my letter and will appreciate my qualities.
This is my first letter and you know that first letters are always difficult to write.
I hope to find common interests and views on life with a man who appreciates true relations and will try to keep it clean and sincere.
I expect you will brighten my life with your smile and warmness soon
If my letter drew your attention then write me back.
Tenderly and warmly,
Aleksandra.

Most sites do charge money -- it is just understanding how they make their money, that is important. If you pay a flat monthly fee and you are able to get a woman's personal email address, phone number etc, with out having to pay extra, then I think it is ok.

I really don't like the practice of having to pay to read / reply to a letter. Because then you start to wonder what is the motivation of the site?

Welcome to the forum Theorem and BluesTraveler!

These agencies don't sound like an agency I would use, too expensive and I've never heard anyone mentioning them before.

Here are proven and cheap sites:

www.freepersonals.ru
www.allsinglerussiangirls.com
www.elenasmodels.com

All 3 are much cheaper then the website you are discussing and the first one is free ... I met my fiancee on this site.

Good luck in your search guys!

I have so far spent something like 20 thousand dollars including more than 3 years going back and forth to Ukraine and on website memberships. And I'm from as far as Australia. Do you think I'm giving up? I somehow believe slowly but surely what goes around will come around and eventually I'll have my honeymoon. I'm trying to enjoy my learning experiences and my time along the way. There's no way I'll be a fool forever. I've been scammed a lot but can I bring anybody to account? One lady even faked her own death in a car accident, after scamming me for $2000 and a large Gold and Diamond engagement ring. Part of the scam occured while I was with her in person. She was not working alone of course, she's with a dirty gang. It's part of their deep seated communal nature. Can one man alone make it? What a jungle.

Hello Moe and welcome to RMP.

I've lost track of all the money I've spent. I had a few scammers contact me but they are usually easy to spot.

Read all you can here and ask questions. If you don't want to discuss your current situation in public/on the board, privately contact myself or one of the other members.

Good luck!
