Hello:

I stumbled across this board after I had been looking for a lady from the FSU for some time. A lot of the information has been pretty useful to me. I have just returned from a short trip to Ukraine that was quite successful. It was my second trip and I tool a little different approach.

I have several friends in Germany (I am German myself) who talked me into using their approach. A lot of them seem to think that it is better to enlist an agency their to schedule meetings with a few different women and then see them all at one time, as well as have travel and so forth arranged. The agency they used had a printed catalog of women to choose from, they are partners with a agency in Ukraine. I was in America so they gave me the web site and sent me more photos. Anyway, I choose 9 women to see in 3 days, with the understanding they could contact more. I didn’t talk to any of these women first. The agency sent my profile and photo to Ukraine and the women agreed to meet me. I got my Visa, bought my ticket ($625 RT) and was ready to go. I was a little nervous about meeting these women “blind”, but I had corresponded before and it didn’t pan out either. I got to Kiev without any trouble, waited for the flight to Simferopol forever but finially made that too. It was my first time on Ukrainian Air and I had heard bad things, but it was no problem, everyone very polite. A little bumpy on landing, but good enough. I was meet by a driver and representative from the agency and was off to Evpatoria. It took about 30 minutes in the car. I couldn’t see much because it was so dark, but the lights from the city were cool and my excitement and worry increased. I had a semi-luxury room at Planeta, supposedly a good resort in the city. It looked nice enough, but everything was so dark, no lights anywhere on the street to see by.

The staff was good, the women at the front spoke good English and my room, a 2 room suite, was great, with a cool view of the sea. The next day I met 3 ladies, one for lunch, two in the afternoon. I must say they were all very nice. The company provided an interpreter, a beautiful young woman, maybe the best of them all. But anyway, 1 of the girls, Olga, spoke good English, so we all talked together. I arranged a date with her for the evening because I didn’t need the interpreter. The next day was good also and I began to wonder if it was a good idea, all the women were nice. But again I settled on one that had more in common and spent a few hours with her. The last day even better, I had an extra night there and the entire next day so I spent it with 2 off the women touring around the area.

The total cost for all the food, taxi, hotel, interpreters: $475. Maybe a lot, but I was very well taken care of, no hassles, the agency Crimealife Connections went out of their way to make me happy. Now I have some addresses and thoughts to correspond and will go back in the spring to see the women that I liked the most. I would recommend this method to everyone, maybe the Germans are on to something.

Did you say "you spent a day with 2 women touring the area?" WOW So what's going on- You look like Tom Cruise?- I know you're not a millionaire if you're talking about the piddly sum of $475.

But seriously- how did that work out- spending time with 2? Did they enjoy the tour? Are these RW young?- I would think a younger lady would be more acceptable to this. I want to make it clear that I am not suggesting any kind of fooling around- But this is just something I would not of thought of.

Hey, you got it wrong. I am definitely no Tom Cruise, I don’t consider myself a great catch, but I am okay. As for rich, no way. But I am serious, and I understand it is not cheap to look for a Russian woman for a serious relationship.

I was only there for a few days so the women understood they had to share my time. Besides, they had seen my photograph and talked to the agency about me, so it was a little different than a “tour”. They seemed not to compete for attention, I think they were serious as well and not want to make a mistake. As for the ages, I am 38 and try to be more realistic than some of you guys, I know these women whom are 22 can not be happy for long with an old guy like me. So the women I met with were between 29 and 35. You can see them at the site, crimealife.com. And I think it is the opposite of what you think, the older women are more reasonable and know what they want, like me they have been disappointed before by the other sex and have learned what life is about.

The thing I think I have decided, and I could be wrong, is that you can not string the women along. Some of them get a lot of letters on the free sites from players, just writing for entertainment. I would rather pay a few dollars and show I am serious. After talking to my friends (2 with Russian wives) and 2 of the agency owners I believe that you have to put up, or shut up. I didn’t think so before, but now I think it is better to visit first, meet a few women you like, then correspond to learn more and build a relationship, then visit again soon. Maybe it is not the cheapest way, but you will have better success in the long run.

So I have something to build on now and I know I can trust these women and the agency to help me more.

I checked out the site you went with Hans, but they have only a few women, wasn't this a problem? Don't you kinda limit yourself with only a few?

It didn’t bother me that there wasn’t a thousand women on the site, I found a few I was interested in and went from there. Besides, I wanted some agency I could trust a little. If a site has 5000 women do you think they are all there? Actively seeking men. Do the agency workers know these women, etc? Maybe I am not being very trusting, but I think not. At lease I am pretty sure that these women are serious, and I know they are real because of the identity proof they must provide for the agency.
