My opinion about the Russian woman thing is kind of jaded now. I almost think we're all nuts trying to get this to work. Of the women online who seem legit, not many are that attractive. I know I'm taking a risk saying that but I mean not anymore than what's here. Ok, maybe in general they're not as heavy as here. That's a given. And forget babes. Especially guys like me who are pushing 50. There is also tons of scamming angles by the women and the agencies. It's like you have to roll the dice in so many areas and then spend time, energy and money to get over there and put up with all kinds of shady people or people who you don't know if they're shady or not. Is that fun? To me it isn't. I'd say 80% of all the agencies and women only care about swindling your $$. I've been to Ukraine and/or Russia 3 or 4 times. I never fell in love and found the women to be similar in attitude to that of Americans. I mean a woman is a woman. Some are stuck up, or *****y, or friendly or whatever. So I'm in a quandary about it. I'm on Elena's models and consistently get turned down by the attractive ones. They know they're attractive. The ones who seem to really want to correspond with me are not all that attractive, or are attractive but have a kid or two - always something. So the pull for me to do it is barely there. It almost seems like a big joke. I'm actually looking at Asians more. I like the attractiveness of the Russians but tired of their BS.

Sorry to hear your search wasn't fruitful. Maybe you should try women from other countries of the FSU. My fiancee is from Moldova, 44, and use to model in her youth so their are attractive women out there, by the way I'm over 50. I find that women who are from the big cities of Ukraine and Russia are more westernized.

It also depends how old the women are you are chasing. Many guys have unrealistic expectations and believe agency hype about 25 year age gaps being wonderful and Barbie marrying Granpa.

You need a small agency who knows the women personally and who will work with you rather than a big $ outfit.

Im 48 and liuda my wife is 24. I think a lot of it is the luck of the draw.I think it does often work and that i for one am very lucky.I hope things work out fotr you.

Scott, try looking for women that aren't model material. Based solely on me and my life, I tend to look past the outer looks and try to see the beauty within. FSU women are far better than most WW.
Most wouldn't think that my wife is beautiful. Attractive yes but once you know her she is very special.
Are you an Adonis to match a models looks? Set realistic goals.

These women leave a life that is known and walk into a world full of the unknown. The man they selected could very well be a Dr. Jeckyll or Mr. Hyde. But they rely on the trust built with the man.
I'll grant you that most of the time it is a better lifestyle but there are horror cases too.

Do not trust pictures. They lie--both positively and negatively.
My ex is a perfect example--beautiful in person, terrible in a photo.
Lola's flower delivery picture "almost" derailed our romance--it was terrible. But, after having a heart to heart with myself and reviewing who and what I was looking for, I went forward and was rewarded with a very beautiful fiance. Who is also very loving, warm, a good mother, a good daughter, intelligent and humorous. None of those will ever show up in a photo.
My biggest hurdle? Getting over my hangups and learning what I really needed in a relationship.
Oh, and it took three years and three trips to figure this out. And one more trip to pick out the rings.

Scott, there are successes with the search for a Russian wife. I'm 51 and I am married to a beautiful Uzbek woman 45. Most Women want a good man with a good heart. Rima's friends envy her because they see that she has a good man and is happy. Most Russian women want stability and security in a relationship. I hope you luck changes.

I had one woman that practically begged me to get her out of Russia, she was desperate to leave. There are cases where a woman wants to be rescued but for the most part, these women are happy with their life except for a stable relationship and not desperate.

I gotta agree the rw do have a very strong mothering instict and once home they make it there domain where they become boss.

I was always a bit untidy but once liuda arrived she had the place tidy and i leave a towel out at my peril.But i would, nt change a thing.

Thats right, and though we are here in England liuda talks non stop to Angelina in russian.
I hardly get a word in Edgeways, i think our baby will speak ruski first then English.
Already liuda calls me papa to angelina instead of Daddy.

From my impression of women on Elena's models, is that the attractive ones actually think they are models, or of high model quality. Just look at the name: "Elena's Models". They actually don't have that many attractive women, in my opinion, but this site does have many advantages as all of you know.

I'm not sure what nationality of Asians you're talknig about, but the ones I've talked to, many actually are not happy living in their current situation and would like to move to a better place. That may or may not bother some. But what I've seen from such relationships in my country that they are genuine and committed.

True, RRR, but I also think Elena's also does not have much of the opposite end. Very little "bottom of the barrel" ladies, unlike some other sites.
