Hi guys,
I put my profile up on Anastasia-International.com and I haven't even posted my photo yet & I have received at least 50 email letters in the last week.

I can't believe that these women are really sending me these emails. They don't even know what I look like yet. And my photo is still not posted yet. This seems to be out of control to try and make some money. I bet if I answered a women on here , she wouldn't even know that her profile was sent to me.

Any of you had any experience with this company?

Any comments on this web site and if they are full of sh-t.

Sounds like a whole boatload of Sh*t to me! I had the same experience with Hotrussianbrides, within 2 days I had 245 emails and my picture was only available for 1 day....go figure.

Don't waste your time or money on this. It's a scam and it has been talked about in this forum many times.

I believe there is a class action taking place in the US; I wish I still had all the crap they sent me, and records of the money I wasted before I figured out it was a scam.

NONE of the women whose letters you have been getting know anything about them, it is the agency sending them, so you will spend money to open and read them.

I just joined brides.ru ( thanks James), on Tuesday, and had two replies already, and they are free to read and free to reply to.

I just went on that site to delete my profile and there isn't a delete button. I figured they had to be full of sh-t sending that many emails to me.

I guess the only way to delete my profile is to email their customer care center in Bangor, Maine.

Do any of you guys have any idea how I can delete my profile on there.

Hey Mate, try Bride.ru.Its free to do profile and you get one or two at a time emailing and its free.So whats to lose.

I never did delete my profile and all their stuff goes right to my spam folder. There is one way to use AW to your advantage. Search the site yourself and if you find someone you think you absolutely must talk to, call her directly and get all her contact info. I found a woman on GlobalLadies.com who I was very intriqued with but rather than spend the credits emailing a phantom, I found her on AW where I could call her. But it is a spendy way to find out whether or not someone might be interested in you.

One thing AW did that I thought was both stupid and bold, is that they sent a CD to me promoting their singles tour to my regular mail. What they heck? What if that had been my work address? Or my home address? At least they could have had the decency to to send it in a bland package rather than one with a few scantily clad women on the outside.

Oh yes! the famous Romance Tours; where you get to meet the woman you have been writing to for many months.... and find she has never heard of you!!!

My 3rd day with Bride.ru and my 3rd letter, 29 y/o ex model, pretty but doesnt do it for me; dyed blond hair and Goth clothing/make-up.
Which is a pity because she is attractive under the gunk, i would like to see her as a brunette.

RP stay away from them. They are bad news. AW tried to explain it away as it was the agencies who have partnered with them doing this, but using AW as the portal. Seems like they would have more control over what their participating agencies do, guess not!?!!

Yes its the biggest scam site out there. You will talk with agency translators and Fat Yuri only. Find a small agency where the ownership actually knows the women and direct contact info is available.

Dont get hung up on free sites; this will be an expensive endeavour, a few quid for direct contact info from a reputable agency is nothing compared to what you will spend in total.

All I have done is post a profile, sit back and wait.
I must admit to sending two letters, but neither woman replied; so now I am waiting until they show an interest in me.

Of the 6-7 who have written to me, I have replied to 2 of them, and heard back from this one.
My luck seems to be turning, I even had another letter on Elena's and I only un-hid my profile that morning; it has been hidden for months, ever since I decided to concentrate on Tahmina (Kyrgyzstan)and Irina (Ukraine); although that list grew to include Zheng.
Bugger!! I think I missed the real deal there, I came back from Dubai to be told she is writing seriously to an American, who is paying a translator to interpret for them when he phones!!

I believe it's known by many that A-W sends out women's intro letters to men just for an introduction/ develop an interest.
There are honest profiles on there but maybe the % is lower. I did get rejected from 2 women there, perhaps these are the honest ones

So, I would never assume the 1st letter is sent to me from a woman.

I'm not using them now, but in the past, I did read some of the letters in profiles I was interested in, and if I liked it, I would respond.

And who ever mentioned about using AW to call the woman thru their service is great idea. I wish I thought of it back then.

Also, they really do a good job of making photos look appealing with photo editing. You can compare pictures with some of the videos they have. At least with AW you can replay the videos anytime @ no charge, as opposed to GL.

I am not trying to defend them or agree with there buisness practices BUT I have been to Russia twice and one of these women (#2) I wrote to thru AnastasiaWeb and the other (#1) through "CuteOnly" again a big NO-NO site and YES both women were waiting for me at the airport!!!!
Maybe according to all that is written here about these sites I found the only TWO REAL WOMEN

I do not know, just relaying my experience. I do still have an account with Anastasia (unfortunatley went the K1 visa route (girl #1)---almost,paid the attorny fees but never filed the paper work (big story for another time) I do correspond with 2 women at Anastasia currently but the whole thing costs me maybe $50 a month.

Again just relaying my personal experience, and I do want to find another way of writing these two or maybe look at a totally different site and write new ones, but I hate to stop writing these two because of many things I know, they are legit also.

problem with calling them through AnastasiaWeb's service is it has to be a monitored 3-way call by them plus I think it is $5.99 a minute but you can ask her during this call for her phone number and then call her back yourself. If she does speak decent english the 3-way transaltor will leave the call but you are still paying $5.99 a minute so make this call short and make sure she gives you her number during this call, I believ this is the only way you can get some personal information, by arranging a monitored 3-way call with AnasatsiaWeb.

Hey again Blucatz,

sorry for leaving where my friend lives off the previous note. Sorry she does not live in america she lives in Perm, Russia but she works as at a Travel agency and is travelling quite often, she has invited me to spend time with her when she was in France on buisness and a little over a year ago to attend one of her friends weddings that was taking place in Turkey. No need to worry about her travel expenses they are all covered thru her work

I think you are on the hook for $30 if you make the call. That is why I said in an earlier post to do this only if you absolutely have to find out about a particular woman. In that instance it is cheaper than corresponding with some she-male for months on end.

Otherwise, search elsewhere.

I agree about the monitor it is necessary, and the way I went to make sure these two women are legit. I now have their home #s and cell #s and I can call them with my internet phone for around .13 a minute. they are not on other sites, and I write to them both about once every 3 weeks and thats why I wrote in a previous post it only costs me about $50 a month or less to communicate with them. But I am very much interested in finding ways of either writing them in some other manner or looking new on a different site. My past history with computer generated translators lead to my #1 girl calling off my K1 visa with her back in 2006

I did that with my lady and the only hit I received was an AD for a university instructor in Odessa and the contact lady's name was the same as my Lady's name. I sent the ad to her an she got a kick out of it.

the women I just google searched for came up on two different sites besides of course AnastasiaWeb and they are

in all honesty I had searched for her on RWN before but she did not come up maybe my perameters were wrong? on a funny note there was a third listing under her name (I did not look at the fine details) and I pulled that one up, it came up as a totally different woman on RWN and I swear to God it scarred the bgeezzes out of me when I saw her absolutly hideous !!!!

This site has 3 stages.

1. Information - like using google to find scammers or a special girl.
2. Visas - helping to fill out documents and what documents are needed.
3. Support - Once the waiting game begins, after submitting the visa paperwork, some days it feels like you have crashed and burned. Everyone needs a pick me up from time to time and the waiting is unbearable at times.

Thanks again I could have used some moral support back at the end of 2006 when my lady#1 called off our relationship, I had started--- I should say paid the attorney fees ($1600) to start the process but no paperwork was filed so I do not have the nasty waiting time like if it has been filed our goverment regulations suck!

Also GTR do you have any insite on "Gala Brides" or "Russian Women Network"???
these are the two sites I found one lady on have not yet google'd the second.

i think GTR,we should name the visa forum "russian woman visa petitioners anonymous" or RWVPA,most of us here are card carrying members.
i fight with my rw sometimes over the waiting. its very hard on both parties involved,and i dont care how much you talk on skpe or the phone or sms. it helps,but its still katastrofa(catastrophe)

could not find the second woman (O)I write to at AnastasiaWeb through the google search, I will not stop trying to find her somewhere else. I really hate to stop writing so I do have a dilema. I will check out the new sites I found the other women (L) on and I guess worst case scenerio I continue to write (O) at Anastasia it is only one girl so cost is not a factor and maybe down the road find a way to write to her off of Anastasia. again if anyone has had any experience with either "Gala Brides" or "Russian Women Network" would love to hear what you have to say

I have researched these two sites "GalaBrides*com" and "Russian Women Network"
Before I post what I have found and ask for members input on what they feel and how I should proceed with correspondence with this "one" woman in particular (not AnastasiaWeb in general)--stay with Anastasia or switch to one of these other sites. I want to ask you if this should become a "completely new tread"? or remain here I do not want to steal someone eles's thread. It does pertain to Anastasia but I would like this discussion to be just about this "one" particular woman and where I should go from here.
