Wow, this is a tough one to crack...

Have you tried just searching for the son. My thought is this, sometimes, even when women re-marry, their children keep the old name.

How long ago was it that you lost touch with her? And are they in the West or where were they last time you had contact to them?

If it was 7 to 8 years ago, the kid would be an adult now,and if he lives in the West you could probably look at census data, and other government type listings in order to locate him.

Once you found him, he can tell you what happened to his mum.

I think yahoo.com has a people search function, but you probably already have tried that rout.

Hey Arnold,yes this is a tough one to crack.

I was last intouch with her in late 2000.Her son Artyom would be 11 or 12 years old now.
They were living in Volzhsky Reg. at that time.
I have tried yahoo and all of them,even yandex.ru
I have adds all over the internet.I send a letter (snail mail) every two months to her last knowen address,with the letter I send a note in Russian saying I am looking for her incase the person that opens it can only read Russian hoping they know her and will pass it on.

I have her last phone number but the person that answers only speaks Russian and mine is not got enough to understand what they are saying yet.I also have her mothers last phone # which dose not help.

I wonder I Lena would make some calls to these numbers if I pay for them

Sorry, I couldn't really be of much help. Have you thought about hiring a privat investigator over there?

And yes, I think it would be a good idea to ask Lena for help, her and Kashyar are both very nice people, I am sure they could be of help to you!

Randy, it's probably best to email Khashyar and Lena directly and let them know how you'd like to have Lena help. I'm sure Lena would be able to speak to whomever answers the telephone at Natalia's number (or at her mom's number.)

I have asked Lena and she said she would do the calls to help,I have to give her some info on me and Natalia so she has a idea what to say and so she isn't calling not knowing anything.

If any one else has ideas in case this dose not work,I would be happy to here them.Maybe somebody knows someone there that could help.
