I have made several visits to Williamsburg Virginia, and during these visits have met more than several young Russian ladies, either attending school and working or just working. I have two questions;
1. Does anyone know the Russian population of the Williamsburg area, approximate would be find?
2. Why or what is the attraction to the Williamsburg area?

They work at resorts as day labor. I know I see many living and working at ocean resorts over summer as well as amusement parks. The pay is much better then back home even after paying airfare. Many are required to be full time students with passing grades and good english language skills. They only work for 3 or 4 months. There are organizations that organize the work visa airfare and other things for them. My wifes brother though about going that route a couple years ago.

This doesn't surprise me. The ones I spoke to were the same. We met one at Ocean City MD who worked as a waitress and we saw for three years when we went on vacation. Musta graduated cause she wasn't there last time. She was always excited to see us. I'm not a big tipper so it musta been my good looks. Seriously, my wife seems to connect on their level even if they are from different parts of the FSU.

Over the summer, there was a group of Russian women, which ran a ice cream store in Myrtle Beach. They hand made the waffle cones.
