You want me to delete this account?

You should be able to post to other threads. I think it you can after you make 3 posts in the new member threads. Try again and let me know.

Does it work now? Sorry about the "3 post" rule for necomers, we were having such a problem with spam so thats why it had to be done

Posted by: yoron

Ahh this explains it. I was thinking of canceling my account here as it didn't seem to work anyhow

Posted by: GoingToRussia

Glad you stuck around yoron. I see you have 4 posts so give it a try ... posting in a different section other then "New Members".

Good luck and let me know if you're having problems. I can probably get them fixed for you.

Posted by: GoingToRussia

Sure I can help you guys ... just let me turn on my printer and I'll be all set. Now where should I send the money? There is of course a processing fee!

And sticking with Russian tradition ... the sooner you want it, the more it costs!

If you could manage 20 pound notes please and then 50s it would be great. And Happy new year.

Hello, everybody, i will be traveling to Kiev in February, this will be my first trip as i meet Natalie from the EM website, i will apretiate any sugestions.

Welcome to the forum! As far as suggestions... What are you wanting to know? Look thru the scammers area as well as the stage 1, travel, gifts areas. Start reading. There is a lifetimes worth of experience here.

If you want a cheaper hotel, stay out of the city and on the other side of the river. Taxi's are cheap if you want to go to the city. I stayed at the Adria hotel. Great place except for the beds. Maybe you can get a room with a better bed. I think my room cost $120 a day/night.

The Avalon Restaurant is nice. Make a reservation at the Avalon restaurant and ask for the aquarium room to watch the "mermaid" swim. Don't order the lobster ... it cost me $200!!! Many things are bought by weight and sold by the gram so be careful what you order.

There are also many great restaurants on the river with very nice views and good food.

Enjoy, have a great time, and welcome to the forum!

Consider having her set up the hotel/apts... She's local and would know of the best places. We have stayed at the Hotel Kiev. withing walking distance of Independance Square. But by her setting it all up you'd have a better idea of her spending habits.

Yes, this is true.....I remember one of the local girls booked me a room at the Central Hotel in Dnepropetrovsk, and she was able to get it for about 2/3 of what they charge foreigners.

Yep I always have Tanya do the talking! They'ver got 2 price lists.. 1 for tourist and 1 for them.
