Looking from the outside, this restaurant has a Greek motif. And as expected, the cuisine is centered around Greek food. And even some that are regional which are normally not served in the US. Keep in mind that the Donetsk-Mariupol corridor does have a large Greek population, so truly authentic stuff.

But they also have some Russian and Ukrainian specialties. And, oddly enough there are a few one-of dishes from Brazil, Peru, and even Ceylon(Sri Lanka).

Very good wine selection, and also there is a section outdoors, which is open weather-permitting.

Interesting twist to this story about this restaurant......I have their business card, and saw their supposed official website was on it......as it turns out, the website shown, www.ellada.donetsk.com.ua links up to a dating/introduction site!

Ellada also has branch restaurants in Mariupol and Zaporozhye. Have not seen the Mariupol one yet, but the outside of the Zap one is very plain, compared to the one in Donetsk.
