Following on from my "married before?" poll, thankyou to those that contributed, I thought we would have another one , "What age you were you when first married!"

I get the impression that most guys on here married later in life , and not that theres anything wrong with this, but do you think times are changing and generally people are waiting till their older to marry?

JC

And I will apparently be 50 when I marry for the second time. So, on average, I marry every 25 years....

Posted by: j_c

Joe

Have you explained to your prospective wife that she only has a 25 year life span before you upgrade her?

JC

Posted by: joelunchbox

She is smarter than me, I think she knows.... Maybe I can beat the system by just renewing our vows in 25 years?? Will that satisfy the statistics gods???
What I think about is that in 11 years Sabina will graduate from high school. I hope I will be able to see and hear her graduation!!

I got married my 1st time when I was 27. It lasted 6 years.

How about never married as an option? For some of us it will be the first time..

Deccie , if I could figure out how to do that I certainly would , as I never considered it!

Any advice welcolme!

From the voting so far looks like my original statement that people on here get married later in life is wrong!!!!!!

Officially I married at the age of 40, though I gave a birth to my daughter when I was 30, that is OK for Russian lady.

I'm 53 and my sweetheart isn't too far behind me. But I've told her (Jokingly) many times that when she turns 50, I'm trading her in on two 25 year olds!!!! I'm glad she has a sense of humor and that she understands mine!

I was 28 then 37 then 46.I guess i just like wedding cake lol

Posted by: Big wheel

I was 36 when I got marred for the frist time and it was to my lovely Ukrainian wife.

Posted by: blucatz

21 the first time, only lasted 6 months. 25 the second time, lasted 4 years. 29 third time, lasted 15 years. At least I last longer the older I get....LOL. I hope I die with the next one, it's getting too hard to be single.

No, just injecting a little humor. I guess the humor was not very good?

Humour was fine Chilli, don't let your, and apparently other peoples, personal relationship history stop you cracking jokes.

Oh and I wont vote yet cause I have never been married, but I am hoping that I will be before my 41st birthday (I am currently 39).

Thanks OGL,
no I am a pretty easy going guy, and will more often than not poke fun at my ownself, which caused some difficulties back in 2006 with a Russian girl I had started (never completed) a K1 on, she did not understand why I would put myself down (you know russian women always being supportive and encouraging) I look at it more of keeping myself humble, will continue to poke fun at myself, or else my head will get WAY TO BIG!!!!

Good luck on your search!!! I hope my second marriage will happen before I'm 50 (currently 47)

Geesh will you older guys stop making me feel like a kid! :P

That and you guys make it so I can no longer whine about being old. ha ha

Your 47? Judging by your picture, I would have guessed late 30's.

I'm the same, I'll have a dig at myself and my Russian friends don't get it. I was chatting to a friend the other day and as a part of the conversation I just said "I know what my worth is to the world" in a joking sort of way and she come back with the whole "I'll be the judge of that thanks don't go putting yourself down". I have been chatting with this lady for about 3 years now and had to explain to her that it was a joke

Thanks Chilli, my search is going ok, especially since I stopped searching and decided to go with the flow. Not going to say much about my current situation cause I don't want people reading things into anything. Suffice to say those I know and trust know about it.

I agree, I wouldn't have picked it. You look damn good for 47 Chilli.

Posted by: dagpop

Chilli, you look in your 30's from your picture. I hope you have some luck finding a woman. Some people it may take months or years to find the right person. I was lucky and found my wife fairly quickly. I'm sure you'll find someone.

Blucatz, OzGuyLooking,

Thanks for the compliments, but you know with searching for a FSU woman I have learned a thing or two from these agencies on how to use the 'photoshop' programs , and this picture is ancient! it was taken when I was just a spring chicken of 45 years old.

Three times for me too! 21, 42 and 57.

My 5 year old has a step sister of 33! I love having kids around. There's still a good chance of one more to keep me busy into my late 70's

Humm..I'm 40 and still have never been married.
There were a couple of common laws but never married.

I would like it to happen soon.

I'm glad for you in that things are progressing forward. Randy, for me it was a time in my life when I was looking for someone to settle down with that I found my other half in ukraine. It's sounding like you're also at that stage. I do envey the way you're doing it in living the lifestyle.
I find it interesting how this forum has many members either hitting paydirt or not connecting at any given time. It seems to be paydirt for many now.

Thanks Sid,

It is funny how there are dry spells for everyone and then everyone is having good luck at the same time.

Randy
