OK, so you feel it when you first write...

It's confirmed when you first meet.....

It burns deeply when you are apart and waiting to be together...........

Finally you are living together and a year or two (or three) passes and "the spark" begins to wain a little.

This is nothing to do specifically with a RW/WM relationship but rather relationships in general.

What do YOU do to keep the spark alive...???????

First off, I don't pretend to be something I am not while I am dating. That way I don't have to pretend while we are married. Much less stressful. Part of my personality is that I remember the most inane things. And I love to buy little gifts all the time. Put those together and you have someone who remembers that she likes a hard to find candy bar and will go out of the way to buy a few. Or remembers that a particular pair of shoes that make her legs look GREAT!! also make her feet HURT!!! So, after dinner and dancing--foot massage! She mentioned that she likes bubble baths but...that is hard to come by or maybe it expensive there...but, I found brand name bubble bath at the dollar store!! WooHoo!! Bubbles for my BAby!!

My life is a bunch of small niceities strung together. For the past 6 months-yes, 6 months- I have hit the big sales looking for special gifts for Lola and Sabina. Nothing I bought is really expensive but everything I have bought has a lot of time, effort and caring in it.
This works for me because-she likes the little things I do, the little special items I excavate at sales. And you know what--she is the same way with me. And I love it when someone remembers the little things....

I have discovered, during the courting period, that my lady sparks into live when I give her attention. She likes me to be interested in her. We talk about things we don't remember afterwards but we never get tired. We have met 3 times so far.

I bought her some presents, including a gold ring, but I didn't feel these were as appreciated as I expected her to. She appreciates gifts, of course, but it looks like she is more interested in building our relationship at the moment. I think understanding each other at this stage will help us in future.
