I am going to Odessa for five weeks in November to learn Ukrainian, and I am sort of on the fence on whether to use a service to meet people beforehand.
If I could meet a wonderful woman over there, I might consider a long term relationship, but I don't want to waste a womans time and get her hopes up either.
Would it be okay if I got into contact with some woman beforehand, and told them what I am looking for.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

2. Going about meeting the women.

I know it sounds funny, but I am not looking for a sexual encounter, but I figured if I am going over there I may as well see what is out there.

Which city in the Ukraine?

Actually it would be quite ideal to contact a few women beforehand, and tell them the truth. You will be in the Ukraine in November, you would like to get to know them a little before you arrive, and then....who knows? Maybe sparks will fly.

you can check out freepersonals.ru and limit your search to just the city you are visiting.

Of course keep your eyes open, and ask questions from people who have been there beforehand. Learn from other's mistakes.

I have been to Odessa 3 times and my girlfriend lives there. There are many agencys there to meet women who are looking for a good man. Here is a good one. And I know the agency manager, her name is Albina. She is very nice.

Go to search & put in ODESSA

Go to this website and search for women in Odessa and write down who you would like to meet or join their site and start communication now with a few of the women there.

I do know if you go to Odessa and walk in off the street and you want to meet any of the women there they will charge you $30.00 for every girl they introduce you to.

Albina is very nice and she likes it when she helps couples meet each other and she is very helpful. Every time I go to Odessa I stop in to see her and we always have nice talks. She will also tell you if she thinks a girl in her agaency is a good match for you or if she is not a good match. She knows all of the women and what they are like personality wise. The address is 16 Derabosovskaya St. Its across the street from the Mcdonalds. Very easy to find .

But ist a great city and the people are realy friendly, i will be there myself in sept, hope it all works our for you.

I think you'll find the the folks in Odessa are and consider themselves Ukrainian. But you have to realize that they were forced to learn russian only in schools for many years and only during the last 16 years of their independance have they resurected Ukrainian. Russian is the most widespread language except for the western area.

Hi Tony,
Don't forget your winter clothes in November in Odessa. It will be real cold then. Maybe even some snow will be happening. But Odessa is cool. The Odessa women are so beautiful. In winter most of the women wear high boots up to their knees and they look so sexy even when they are all buttoned up.

I just got back a couple weeks ago from Odessa. And yes it was summertime. And it was mini skirts, high heels and your neck starts to hurt looking all over the place at them walking in the street.

I was a little nervous my 1st time there because it was my 1st time alone out of the U S. But now that I have been there 3 times I feel like I live there because I know where everything is. I have my favorite restaurants that I walk to even when I am alone. And I have seen all of Odessa in a cab with a friend of mine there who is a waiter in the Lebonese restaurant on Derabosovskaya St.

Just don't keep your wallet in your back pocket. I had a guy try to give me a hug after he talked with me on the street and I could feel his hand in my back pocket. My wallet was not there. I had it in a leather pouch on my belt.

I looked at him and said please don't hug me. He then thought I did not know what he was doing. He then had the nerve to ask me for $10.00 he said he needed it because his mother was sick.

I told him I felt his hand in my back pocket and he was lucky I didn't spray him with my pepper spray that I had on me. He then said he was sorry. I said yeah, you blew it and your stupid thinking you could fool me.

But other than that it's safe there. I walked alone everyday while my girlfriend was at work. I never felt awkward at all.

You will have a blast. Just don't be afraid to meet any women there. There are plenty that want a good honest man. Think positive . Of course you have your women there that want gifts and money. But you will know when they start asking you for things to get rid of them.

But the women there that want a relationship are going to be totally up front and honest with you. There is no beating around the bush or sugar coating things.

When you ask the honest women a question she will tell you the answer even if you don't like the answer. She wont lead you on and tell you things to just make you feel O K .

An example is when I met my girlfriend that I have in Odessa. I told her point blank I want to have children with my future mate and have a happy loving home with healthy children and have my wife be my best friend in life.

She looked at me and said I want the exact same things as you just described.

I remember going on a few dates in the U S and telling a few American women the same thing. They looked at me and said THATS NOT WHAT I HAD IN MIND! or You Gotta Be Kidding!

What I'm trying to say is this. These women are on the same page as me. Here in the U S it's not even on the same book. If you prepare for this you will be successful in finding an incredible girl there. But you must be focused on having it happen. If you meet one and she is not right for you you must let her go and move on so you can meet a good one.

You have a certain amount of time there in their country and you must use your time wisely and not waste it. I wish you good luck there. You will have fun. Oh I forgot one thing. Dont use the tap water for brushing your teeth or leaning something and putting it in your mouth.
