Maybe I am way off base asking her to give me more information to verify that she is who she says she is? After all, she never asked for money? I did a false thing myself. I posted the only pictures that I had of myself which were taken seven years ago. I was very buff and I am not now. I'm like 85lbs heavier. I was going to the website to meet vegetarian friends to get on a vegan diet like I used to be on back when I was skinny. So am I the scammer or her? |

I have over 100 clients that are some of the world's wealthiest people and though some of them have found a way to riches, the intellegent of the group are humble and well mannered. It makes no difference how much money one makes as to his or her value. I'd stack up my earnings against your's any day. Better yet, I stack up some of my friends earnings as well. Having the capacity to earn alot of money is easy. Always has been for me. Taking the time to face one's insecurities and thereby learning to be a better person is not so easy. (...) But I used to think like you and I tired of the Yachts and champagne. It was a shallow existance of physical pleasure that I lost interest in. |

Well I am 27, run my own consultancy business, am not American, own a Flagship Audi, and holiday 3 times a year. Mrs Neo is a 21yo Model, she is studying for a law degree and works part time as a model. She is free to do as she wishes and we make all our decisions in life jointly on what is best for both of us. Most of my friends consider I am quite a catch being not unattractive. Why did I go to Russia? Because the women their are the most attractive partners in the world, they have a fantastic "kickass" attitude towards life and an unbreakable spirit. So maybe I am a loser. But I like it. And Mrs Neo with her wardrobe full of Prada and Gucci likes it too. Freedom of choice. go figure. |

Now simple psychology points to one direction...this moron might very well have joined the navy and worked around nuclear submarines...probably cleaning cesspools & the like...from that he slowly morphed into his internet alter ego as nuclear engineer...(years later attending a community college on GI bill benefits... ) Now closer to home: my own father was vetted to serve in the navy in a base with american atomic missiles. They had drills simulating the launch of the missiles. He even saw the warheads himself. Now was he a nuclear engineer or a robotics expert? No. My father served as a cook and driver and retired as upper corporal (whatever you call that, caporal maggiore ). So his highest honor was to drive high officials around. See? |
I think we are seeing a new Ham, no more BS just lots of funny quips!

| Yup, I and everyone else on a scholarship are beggars. We have one certainty, though: we got in because we deserved to; the same doesn't apply to those like you, who are are accepted and allowed to continue, despite poor grades and poor English, only because they pay tens of thousands of year. You're really being exploited, if you think about it, getting the same education, and paying three times as much for it. |
| Actually, I was trying to be polite, Ham. The reason why there aren't more Italians on scholarships (and don't tell me one would refuse a scholarship if offered one) is because they just don't cut it in front of the eastern-europeans and chinese. It has nothing to do with money, since merit scholarships are ethnicity-blind, but with quality of work. |
| I didn't call your English "poor," but "mediocre." |
| Everyone in my department got about 20K for MA and 100K for PhD (okay, not sure about the exact figures, because local tuition is lower, but it's basically full coverage). So no, that doesn't make me special, although it's true that I have one of the few international scholarships. |
