Hello Everyone,

Lena and I have been planning the next logical steps for the Russian Meeting Place, and we decided that we are going to open a new office of the Russian Meeting Place in Mogilev, Belarus...

We are going to buy a computer there, and set up an office with a couple of staff members (to begin with)...

They will help with our discussion forums (Russian and English), as well as write articles and develop content and essays for the Russian Meeting Place website (for example, English essays about Russian culture, Russian-Western relationships, life in Russia, Russian women, and other topics)... We want to place these new essays on the Russian Meeting Place website (in a "Russia" information section, as well as in each issue of "Russia Magazine."

An important goal for me is to have our new staff members manage and create content for and develop "Russian Magazine" that we have begun on the Russian Internet Guide site... We may also create a seperate website altogether for "Russia Magazine."

They will also help us with other aspects of the website and photo personals site...

I would also like these women to help provide a Russian woman's perspective on our website, which I believe will be valuable and interesting for our visitors...

I feel good about expanding the Russian Meeting Place, and hiring some staff in Belarus (as well as, later, in Russia and Ukraine). This feels like a way to help the Russian Meeting Place naturally grow....

Part of the reason why we are opening this branch office of the Russian Meeting Place is so that Lena and I can receive help in maintaining, managing and developing/ expanding the site, and consequently helping the site be of more help and benefit to others...

As always, we welcome your ideas and thoughts.

This is the most excellent news,please at least keep me informed as to your progress.I have already written that my
friend is in Mogilev.And no I am not looking for her a job.She already has one that keeps her quite busy.I feel that
my Galina is a true diamond in th rough.She is extremely intelligent,very open,very well spoken,and through her strong efforts we have had a very small communication barrier.She may very well be a good contact.By the way I should be there the first weekend in March.Please keep me informed.Good Luck!

Thank You So Much. I have just made reservations.Should arrive on Friday March 4th.Will be there for Woman's Day.My job dictated when I could go as we are loosing an employee.So it was go now or wait until November.I decided not to keep the lady waitng and I am anxious myself. Thanks again, Bud
