Will anybody be in Crimea middle of October?

Just wondering if anybody has been or will be around Crimea - middle Oct? Is the weather supposed to be good?

My lady will still be there.
She says "weather generally stays moderate until middle October, but rains is often occurs".
I just love the accent, even in writing!

Oh well, I hope they don't get an early winter...

Hello, everyone.
I hope I’ll be there (I mean here ) because I live here (there).
So, I’ll try to post some pictures and links for you, just to show how the weather here/there looks like.
Wish me a success...

Do you live in Balaklava? What are some things to see in that city?

You'll be able to see most of the sights with a day trip "walk about" as the ozzies say.
It's a neat little hamlet tucked away off the Black Sea on a pretty little inlet.

Everything!
Autumn appears to be arriving early this year.
We had a hot, humid day.
A pleasant mid-70's day with nice breeze.
A day of full overcast.
A day of light rain in morning but cleared beautifully.
A day of full-on rain.
Some evenings very cool, some humid.

take an easy jacket (like an atheletic track suit jacket - you'lll fit right in.) also an umbrella ( a big one for 2 - get it at a golf shop) and a raincoat. Light sweaters are a good choice.... she'll scold you like a babushka if you aren't dressing warmly enough. Take layers.
I carried a small backpack... I stood out like a sore thumb.... only some students carry these. But it worked out well because I could fit lots of things in at start of day as well as add things into it as day progressed. I'm not a big fan of carrying plastic bags, but Ukrainians are apparently naked without one in hand! Even at first light on the way to work, everyone has a packet (shopping bag) in hand.
Also, if you feel so inclined for money/documents - a man-purse is very common. Actually looks very professional there but I thought it looked gay.
Count on the weather being very much typical of BC and you'll be fine.

No, I don't live there, but I would love to… Actually I live in one hour driving from there.
By the way, this place was described in Homer’s Odyssey
and in many quite smaller stories of others authors like Tolstoy, Cuprine et cetera. In ancient times there was a Cembalo fortress, now there are only ruins of it but the view is still gorgeous! The Balaklava’s bay is the best place for yachting marina in the whole Black sea area, I guess. This is the first place to see. Another one is former Soviet submarine underground plant. Some of men found it interesting to see.
Quite another thing is fishing on the harbor!
Now is the best time for it! And fried mackerel with the local white wine… just
The weather is perfect now and going to be the same about next two weeks.
Hurry up to catch it!

Yes, you are right...
But this is perfect place to live in, not to see. Feel the difference….
But quite expensive....

Bro, i wish you finest journey and the best departures.
I was constantly toasted, "To good depature" and always thought they meant, "the sooner, the better".
But fianlly explained to be that departure was a vaulation of the sum of your visit... a successful departure meant that, in the end, you had been successful in your visit!
I hope it is all you desire, and even more all she desires!
And if you think there is room in your baggage, I'll pay the extra weight if I can stow away!
Poka! Do svidanya!
