I have been corresponding with a lady in Ukraine. She claims she was married to an American man and was living in the States before getting divorced and moving back to Ukraine.
She seems to be a genuine person but I want to do my homework on her and look for consistency.
Is there any documentation (K-1 visa and immigration info., marriage/divorce records) that are publicly accessible? Will the USCIS devulge any past information for this purpose?

All marriage records in the US are public record.
You can:
ask her what town she was married in
contact the city hall for that town
ask for records department and how to obtain copy of marriage license

Divorce records:
a little more difficult to search but if you know the city / county she lived in, most likely the divorce was file there.

---
lazy method hire a private investigator in the area she lived and they can go get the records for a flat fee.

You might as well do a criminal records check as long as you're at it. You never know...
