That is utter hogwash.
I read an explanation ( i lost the link ) and nowhere does that law prohibit exchange of email addresses or similar.
But it was good for conpeople in the dating business to have a nice excuse so that they can go on scamming unsuspecting men with their games of shadows, aliases and stolen model pictures.
Besides, that law applies to USA outfits only.
Most of these junk dating farms are fronts for offshore companies.
