Ukrainian inflation soars to 2.2% in June (Interfax)

KYIV. July 9 (Interfax) - Inflation in Ukraine accelerated to 2.2% in June - a level not seen since September 2005 - on the back of higher food prices, the Ukrainian State Statistics Committee said. Inflation was 0.6% in May this year and 4.2% in the first half of 2007.
