This week is a bit of a trying week for me. Although Tanya is really good at writing back promptly, she has not answered back in three days, and understandably so. I knew a while back that there would be another American in town to see her sometime in July, and apparently it is this week.

It's understandable. Other guys do write her, and likewise, I do write other women, too. We are not engaged, and both want to see what's best.

The temptation to send her flowers right about now has crossed my mind, but I think that will cause more trouble than it's worth.

So, right now I am keeping a low profile, and trust that she uses good judgement.

In the meantime, I am catching up on correspondence with others, and hope for the best. That's all a guy can do.

It is the worst, when there is a big delay in getting an email. All sorts of things cross your mind. Distance really can trump up fears. However just assume she is being polite checking her options, and will email you soon. I agree I wouldn't send her flowers, it just might tick her off.

By the way are you planing on seeing her soon?

Raspberry, I probably missed some other posts... but I'm curious since it sounds you e-mail regularly quite often, what site do you use? Do you just write on personal e-mail now?

Hi Raz. You don't sound a like sad today, what happened to the inspired mood you have posted?

Don't send flowers. Wait until she answers your e-mail then send flowers. It will make her forget the other guy!

Good luck and watch out for Lana around Christmas time or early next year! She gets stanger everyday!

RRR, she does not have a computer, so we just do mail forwarding through RWN/Angelika.

GTR, Thanks for the tip.

Well, I did hear from her four days ago, and she seems to be doing OK. I did write her back right away, but have not heard from her since. She usually doesn't write on the weekends, due to the agency hours.

In the meantime, some other interesting developments. I did write my two other faves in Dnepro, and have got responses from them promptly. Also another lady from that city and I have been corresponding. So, it looks like I will have to squeeze a Dnepro trip at some point this year. On my most recent trip, it was just a dedicated Mariupol trip, with one day in Kiev.

And some equally interesting stuff happening. One of our customers gives me her phone number.

One of my California counterparts---whom, surprisingly, I had never met before---happened to be in town. We got talking, and really got along well right away. The subject turned to Russia, and it turns out her mom's side of the family was from there. We started corresponding from that point.

However, I have been working a lot of extra hours this week, and at the same time, my allergies are acting up.

So, it's been a strange bit of Yin and yang, as they say in China. Too many distractions to be worried here...
