I think you are talking about another documentary. Maybe the one they did on Nord Ost theater in Moscow. This one had nothing to do with "freedom fighters" or anything from the Chechen perspective. It is simply kids telling what happened and how it has affected them.
They do tell an amazing story of one of the female rebels who actually felt compassion for a thirsty child and gave her some water. A man blew her up by remote for doing so. The friends of this little girl died. She was miraculously spared. Most of theme didnt even know what a terrorist was. Hearing a small girl tell in her own words about passing around a shoe filled with urine to drink so they could stay alive is a hard thing to forget. |
