Unusual Change in Correspondence

I have been corresponding with this one lady for over a year now. We did meet last year, spent some time with her earlier this year, and plan to meet again in a few weeks.

Normally, we correspond once or twice a week via mail forwarding. No translator is involved as she understands English well. She usually answers back promptly when I write her. Except on weekends, when she goes out with her friends, and I can understand that.

I did send her a package a couple of weeks ago, and an e-mail about a week ago. I have not heard from her in almost two weeks, which is not normal for her.

Is this a warning sign, or am I jumping to conclusions suspecting something is not right??

Hey Rass. Is it just by email you correspond? She may have problems with it....do you have a phone number to call her on? I dont know at what stage the relationship is at ...but it doesnt sound like she's just "found someone else" having met twice already and planning to meet again soon. I just hope she is ok. Do you have a friends number or relatives??? Good Luck Mate

Either she has sent you an e-mail and it has not arrived in your inbox for some reason or the other way around and you are both wondering why you have not heard from each other in a longer time than is usual.

Just call her Rasp, or resend you original email again with a note saying you had hoped to here from her, I had a lady go AWOL for a month once and she came back saying she had been away, internet problems etc etc. Personally I woujld call her, she shouold answer if everything is above board.

What is even more interesting is that I find out that AFA happens to be having their tour in Donetsk April 18-30, which is right about now. And quite a coincidence since I last heard from her on 4/17. I start thinking that, with her being in nearby Mariupol(the bonus city on the tour), that she may be some kind of professional dater.

Her local agency is not affiliated with AFA, however, so it's not likely she is even aware of this. But the timing of getting the AFA flyer in the mail describing the tour was an interesting coincidence.

I will call her as soon as I get a break in here(been working extra hours this week for obvious reasons), before leaving for FSU.

Thanks for your support, guys. And of course, I've got other plans on the "back burner".

You dont get an answer for 2 weeks, so you think she is a professional dater...
yet you have known her for at least 5 months and corresponded for over a year????

a girl I wrote to for almost a year, sent her gifts and she even sent me gifts.....2 weeks before meeting her she just quite writing and would not answer her phone....I used a translator to call her mother and was told not to come and meet her that she was not interested any more.

1 other girl I was writing to also did not write me for 2 weeks...so I asked about it she told me she had to go to Zaporozhye for the week with a few of here friends...Just happened to be the same weekend they had a large social......found out from her mother that she when there to attend the social...here mother thought I already knew and was a bit shocked that I did not....Mother also told me daughter brought a guy from the social home for a week but that she did not like him that he just gave lots of gifts so she could not say no.....

If it was me I would give her a call…it could be something not good…or it could just be that she is sick or has internet problems…..

Naturally, any guys mind would race in this situation so Rasberry cannot be blamed for any of his doubts or thoughts.
